Compassion in Action: ATMS Shines During Good Deed Week 💫 On the 5th day of Good Deed Week, the ATMS team visited various NGOs, including schools and old age homes, to spread joy and make a difference. Our employees donated essential items such as groceries, sanitary napkins, and more, embodying the true spirit of humanity and generosity. This act of kindness taught us valuable lessons in empathy and togetherness, highlighting the power of compassion in building a better world. We are proud to share that every single ATMS member participated in this initiative, showcasing the unwavering commitment of our team to making a positive impact. Through these heartwarming acts, we've witnessed the transformative power of giving back. By extending a helping hand to those in need, we've not only uplifted the lives of others but also enriched our own perspectives and strengthened the bonds within our organization. One of the easiest ways to support the kids served by GO Pantry is to donate food items we need to fill our Spring Break GO Boxes. 🌷☀️🌈 And if you don't have the time or physical capacity to hold an official food drive in your workspace, simply shop our Amazon Wish List and have our most needed items shipped directly to our warehouse! 📦 Spring Break GO Boxes provide a week's worth of kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare food for kids who experience food insecurity when they aren't in school (and as a result, aren't receiving school-provided breakfast and lunch). Did you know there are easy ways you could volunteer your time to help Table to Table? One way is by making sandwiches. The staff at AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. gets together once a month and makes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for our community partners. Isn't it odd that while charities encourage people to discover the joy of volunteering in their community, the justice system uses community service as a punishment? Or that a headline-grabbing policy in what promises to be a gruelling next few weeks is to give 18-year-olds the choice between community service or a year in the army? #Volunteering is a social activity, it broadens the mind and helps the community. But to equate it with punishment and compulsion? Mixed messages! To all who would hold power: how about a serious national conversation about encouraging volunteering across all generations? About how to sustainably support charities with national and local policy to help the most vulnerable in society? Maybe even asking charities what they've learned about, you know, actually solving stuff?

August marked a significant milestone for us—we gave out over 103,800 pounds of food in just one month! This is the first time we've surpassed 100,000 pounds in a single month, serving a record 1,822 families—equating to 5,610 people! To put that in perspective, in August 2023, we provided just shy of 75,000 pounds of food to 1,207 families—reaching 3,929 people. The growth we are experiencing is truly humbling. As we transition from our "slower season," with an already 44% growth rate compared to last year, into the busy months from September to December, we anticipate serving even more people in our programs. And we can serve these ever-increasing numbers with the support of our community! I'm always heartened when companies and groups ask how they can help Feed More this time of year. For teams looking for a way to engage here are a few ideas... Food Drive Competition - By team, by floor, by department. Because of the ever-evolving supply chain, shelf-stable items are in high demand. Our donation door is open for extended hours during the holidays! (feedmore.org) Year-End Budget Surplus - Many companies have a use-it-or-lose-it approach. Have a little extra budget at year-end? Invest in the community through a special gift or purchase to help provide food to our community. Consider sponsoring one of our key programs. Mid-winter volunteering - We LOVE volunteers! Volunteers make up 2/3rds of the Feed More team. Consider signing up and locking in for January and February shifts now.
