Attention, gamers!🎮 Diablo IV's latest expansion, Vessel of Hatred, is facing some frustrating technical issues. Some console players, especially on Xbox and PS5, are unexpectedly locked out due to licensing bugs. 🛠️ As a passionate gamer, I've encountered my share of launch day issues, but nothing quite like the dreaded error screens that turn your excitement into frustration. Reminds me of past gusts with bulky cartridge blowing or tangled controller wires—modern problems with a nostalgic twist! Blizzard is on top of the issue, working on a hotfix. In the meantime, there are workarounds like managing installs or restoring game licenses to keep the game going. 🔄 Has anyone else faced these problems? How did you manage? For those navigating these choppy waters, hang in there. Sharing your experiences can help others too! 💬 What's your most memorable "game launch day" issue, and how did you handle it? #DiabloIV #GamingCommunity #ConsoleGaming #BlizzardEntertainment #TechIssues

#Xbox Game Showcase will be livestreamed on June 9, 2024. According to Xbox, "This will also be our first Showcase featuring games from our portfolio of studios across #Activision, #Blizzard, #Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, in addition to titles from our third-party partners." Xbox owns 23 game development studios and Xbox Game Pass is well-known for its game subscription model, similar to Netflix subscription. While Playstation and Nintendo have been focusing on platform exclusive content strategy (ex) Stella Blade, Spider Man, Mario Kart), Xbox have been shifting into cross-platform model with PC Game Pass. One of the biggest challenges for subscription based business model for digital content is to keep the subscribers after the first month. The users consume their favorite content in a month and cancel the subscrition if there is nothing interest to keep them stay. That is why Netflix invest in original contents and stay as the market leader until today. The good things that your family and friends keep talking, so you have to try before you get spoiler. The major publishers of Xbox such as Activision, Blizzard, and Bethesda will be the hightlights at the show, but I am more interested in Xbox Game Studio's original titles for this time. Any major game publishers' AAA titles will take long years until we can play. It used to be 1 to 3 years gap, now we expect 8-10 years from development to release. Gamers expect more games like Hi-Fi Rush; May not one of the AAA games, but fun, unique, and make you feel satisfied to be a long-term subscriber. Before I end my post, here are some of the games I recommend on Game Pass: 1. Hi-Fi Rush 2. The Elder Scrolls series 3. Fall Out series 4. Star Wars JEDI 5. TUNIC 6. Mass Effect series 7. Tomb Raider series 8. Like a Dragon series 9. Minecraft 10. Persona series #game #gameindustry

It's so great when game developers try to make them playable on completely different platforms. For example, this time we will talk about a game that will be available on consoles very soon - Bleak Faith: Forsaken. Now the game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, but PS4 and Xbox One will be available a little later. Bleak Faith: Forsaken is an action-adventure game in the spirit of Dark Souls. You will play as one of the Outcasts - the last line of defense against the spreading horrors of the Omnistructure. After the game's release on PC, players rated the game positively and praised its cool atmosphere. The console version will also include more content, as well as some improvements. The release on consoles will take place very soon - on August 6, which means all gamepad gamers will be able to plunge into the atmosphere of the dark Gothic world in a little less than two weeks. Have you already taken a closer look at Bleak Faith: Forsaken? 🌟 Unicorn Overlord hits milestone 🌟 #Vanillaware's latest tactical RPG, #UnicornOverlord, has made a monumental splash in the market, selling over 500,000 copies in less than a month (!!!) since its release on March 8 across Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation 4/5. (Published by SEGA group company #Atlus!) Its success is not just in numbers but also in the exceptional tactical gameplay that has quite frankly taken up so much of my personal time recently that my wife is getting upset 🤣 I highly recommend this title, and it has been quite a while since I have spent so much time every night playing a game. If you like games like #FFTactics, #TacticsOgre, #FireEmblem - this game is definitely for you! The game's popularity stands out amidst stiff competition (like #FF7Rebirth, #RiseofRonin and Nintendo's #PrincessPeachShowtime) for its unique appeal and solidifying Vanillaware's niche in delivering deeply engaging titles. Previous successes, like "13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim," paved the way, with "Unicorn Overlord" quickly becoming the studio's fastest-selling game. This milestone highlights the importance of strategic launches, including demos and robust marketing. A testament to the power of quality game design and smart promotion in achieving commercial success 💪 The only disappointing point is probably the fact that we were not able to understand how quickly this game would sell - but if you play it, you'd understand 😍 【Source article】 https://lnkd.in/gTPq7t-V #GamingIndustry #Vanillaware #UnicornOverlord #TacticalRPG #GameDevelopment #SEGA #segasammy #atlus

You can grab an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription for half off right now https://lnkd.in/deVV293C In case you missed the news, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions recently went up in price with the rollout of a new “standard” tier, which doesn’t include day-one access to first-party Xbox games. Thankfully, if you’re still keen on an Ultimate membership, CDKeys is offering one-month subscription codes for $11.19 ($9 off) and three-month codes for $29.79 (about $30 off). These aren’t the lowest prices we’ve seen, but they sure beat paying Ultimate’s new price of $19.99 a month. If you need a refresher, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate grants access to a massive library of downloadable games for Xbox consoles and PC. Naturally, that includes first-party titles like Halo Infinite and Hi-Fi Rush, but also great third-party games like Star Wars... Continue reading…
