Navigating the Future of Cannabis Testing in FL With the imminent rise in scrutiny on lab testing results in Florida, what should operators look for in their lab partners to ensure they remain competitive and avoid any major pitfalls? Here are a few things to consider when preparing for the evolving FL landscape: 1. Data Accuracy and Consistency: At the core of any good lab, they should prioritize verifiable, reproducible, and legally defensible data. With increased scrutiny on lab results, it should be our job to safeguard operators against recalls, reputational damage, and legal repercussions. Data accuracy and consistency helps to combat the risk of unsafe products reaching the shelves. 2. Streamlined Workflows: The cannabis sector demands speed and efficiency. It’s important to work with a lab that has extensive commercial lab experience and technical resources to assist with streamlined workflows to help reduce manual effort and human error, thus accelerating your product's market entry. 3. Contamination Mitigation and Remediation: No operation is perfect. Operators in FL are constantly battling the challenging climate conditions for cannabis cultivation. It’s important for lab partners to proactively address and help resolve contamination challenges. There are specific testing programs and services that can be used to assist with contamination mitigation and remediation. In an era where integrity in testing becomes paramount, operators will need to partner with labs that not only promise accuracy but also ensure compliance, efficiency, and innovation. Let's elevate the standards together. #CannabisIndustry #QualityAssurance #Innovation #DataIntegrity #ModernCanna

I think some people misinterpreted my recent comment directed towards cannabis testing laboratories: "Good work ain't cheap, cheap work ain't good (for any lab)." The comment WASN'T about how a decision to be the lowest cost test provider leads to inaccurate or fraudulent results. Regulatory compliance is independent of test price. The comment WASN'T about the outcome of hiring the least expensive consultant. Although you can probably figure that out independently. The comment WAS about how cannabis laboratory business owners who follow the Walmart or Southwest business model of being the lowest cost provider are sacrificing short and long term financial stability. This means they are sacrificing employee longevity and morale, investor support, and any realistic chance of developing a profitable business. Please introduce me to a low cost cannabis testing laboratory killing it. Lowering testing invoice prices to come down to your struggling competitors (i.e. "cheap work") is equivalent to death by ~10000 self-inflicted paper cuts. Pun intended. Labs: set it up and then go sell the value of Great Customer Service. Having conducted hundreds of tests as a "secret service shopper", I can tell you that while a small cohort of cannabis labs have breathtakingly good customer service, many fall depressingly short here. Same goes for clinical labs, too... As a service provider, if your #customerservice is subpar, revenue will follow the same trajectory. So... how do you improve customer service? E4 Bioscience would love to talk to you when you're ready. #cannabis #laboratory #revenue
