#acetate , as a highly regarded fabric, is leading the fashion trend with its unique characteristics and environmental advantages, and it serves as the theme for our #SPINEXPO exhibition. We have chosen to use acetate fibers primarily based on #Naia™. Naia™ acetate fibers are derived from wood pulp, representing a naturally degradable and sustainable #material . The fiber's unique cross-sectional shape and special surface structure give it superior moisture absorption. Fabrics made from Naia™ are soft on the skin, exhibit a silk-like sheen, and have a natural drape. What I value most about Naia™ is its environmental friendliness and sustainability. It has obtained #FSC and #PEFC chain-of-custody certifications, and the products naturally degrade in soil and precipitation after use, returning to nature. #fashion #textile #yarn #fashionindustry #knitting #fiber #tension #fibercontent #gauge #weaving #spinning #threads

🔎 In this new webinar series, we’re doing a deep dive into safer solutions for various #PFAS applications! First out is the issue of technical textiles. 👕 The textile industry — or more specifically the #TULAC (Textiles, Upholstery, Leather, Apparel, Carpets) sector — is one of the biggest emitters of PFAS in Europe, which makes a strong case for finding safer alternatives to use instead. One of the more debated applications for PFAS-free solutions has been technical #textiles such as personal protection for firefighters and other textiles where functionality is key. But today, there are several safer alternatives available on the market. In this webinar, you can expect to learn: ✅ Why PFAS aren’t needed in many technical-textile applications ✅ How to overcome substitution barriers for technical textiles ✅ Key lessons from a case study on #workwear 🎙️ Speakers: Dr. Rüdiger Fox, CEO of Sympatex Louise Svensson, Technical Development Manager at Tranemo - Advanced Workwear Dr. Lisa Skedung, Researcher and Project Manager at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) Dr. Jonatan Kleimark, Senior Chemicals and Business Advisor at ChemSec 📅 Tuesday, May 7 🕒 15:00-15:45 (CEST) 👉🏻 Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/diRw67F4

What’s truly remarkable about this collection is that not only are FSC-certified materials used, but the entire supply chain—from fiber to garment production—is connected through FSC certification. This ensures that the wood from FSC-certified forests is used in the clothing without being mixed with materials potentially linked to deforestation. 😀 Thanks to Birla, Eastman, Sinjintex, Brunello, and High Fashion, who participated in this project, have pledged to the FSC’s Fashion Forever Green Pact, promising to expand the use of sustainable MMCF (Man-Made Cellulosic Fibers). 🙏
