Financial Services Professionals (FSP) is excited to announce that the Honorable Maxine Waters received FSP’s 2024 Trailblazer Award! Her distinguished service as a Member of Congress and Chair of the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services has left an indelible mark on the financial services industry. We celebrated her remarkable and unwavering commitment to ensure fair and equitable standards in housing and finance and her outsized contributions to advancing diversity and inclusion in the financial services industry. She is a fierce advocate for marginalized, and underrepresented communities. She offered inspiring remarks reminding us of how important it is to have diverse voices in the room where important decisions impacting our financial wellbeing are being made. We were honored to have special guests attend the awards ceremony, including Rep. Stacey Plaskett, Rep. Gwen Moore, CFTC Commissioner Kristin Johnson, PCAOB Chairwoman Erica Williams, and SEC OMWI Director Allison Wise. #financialservices #DEI

FSP hosted its Annual Fall Reception in connection with the CBCF-ALC last week. We were honored to have Congresswoman Joyce Beatty and CFTC Commissioner Kristin Johnson join us as our special guests. Rep.
