R.I.P Luxury The word, not the idea. "Luxury" is the most diluted word in the entire real estate landscape. It lives in OTAs, on construction scrims, draped from new development, all over web headlines, underneath Insta posts as #luxury, in leasing collateral, as naming conventions, as part of top__ lists, in brand promises... everywhere. Luxury can mean (and this list is by no means exhaustive): -Costs a lot -High quality materials -Zen -Convenient -Better than average appliances -Helpful services -Comes with a car elevator to your door -Big -Well located In fact, "Luxury" is so overused that we've scraped it from our Studio's vocabulary. We don't use the term in any brand communication. BUT. There is plenty of space for the idea. So much so, that we've gone ahead and defined it ourselves.
