Happy #NationalInternDay! The Mobile Chamber was honored to have been selected as a host community for the Fuel Alabama summer intern programming. Thank you to the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama and Innovate Alabama for giving us this opportunity to create #professionaldevelopment and #networking opportunities for our Mobile summer interns. A few highlights from FuelAL: Mobile - 102+ interns participated - 30 different employers - 32 different colleges and universities were represented - 17 states + Puerto Rico were represented: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. - Interns were able to tour the USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park with the Young Professionals of Mobile We enjoyed showing these interns there is More to Mobile and look forward to having them enter our workforce upon graduation! #talentattraction | #moretomobile | #summerinterns
