CT116 is the successor model of the CT-106+, designed for cleaving silica optical fibers from 80μm to 1250μm in cladding diameter. In addition to the automatic clamp force adjustment feature, the new model features automatic functions like motorized backstop for stable cleaving of large diameter fibers, and blade tracking & management. Equipped with RFID sensors, it allows automatic program selection with the new FH110 fiber holders, which are now standard on our FSM-100 series splicers. CT116 includes the capability to perform angled cleaves with a rotating clamp.
