Earlier this month, seven Fujitsu Intelligence Technology (FITL) members - Claudia Cambero, Portia Murray, Weihua Zhang, Thuy Le, Andrew Lin, Greg Fraser, and Mariko Wowk - joined Science World in Vancouver for the Girls and STEAM Summit 2023. The annual event aims to inspire young girls aged 12 to 14 to explore careers in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and design, and math). During the event, our FITL team showcased our AI platform, Actlyzer, which uses live video footage to detect human behavior. The team programmed Actlyzer to recognize people who raised both hands, which was captured by a webcam as part of our demo at the showcase booth. Through the demo, the team elaborated on potential use cases for this technology. Learn more about the Actlyzer platform: https://okt.to/Z8pkNG. The FITL team is committed to increasing the number of women in the organization, and we are excited to have five women participate in this year’s summit. We hope this event has inspired young women to pursue a career in artificial intelligence. #AI #GirlsandSTEAMSummit2023 #technology
