We are officially at the half-way point of my 𝟯𝟬-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲!  A lot of people just don’t like networking based on certain beliefs. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 “𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.” Some of us independent types may feel that asking for help fosters a few worries: 1. Puts a burden on others 2. Denies us the satisfaction of figuring it out ourselves 3. Makes us seem less competent or weak -->𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀: 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲.  Asking for advice can feel a little less charged than asking for help. And people LOVE giving advice so that can help eliminate worry #1.     𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.
