The Your OT Tutor Alliance has now launched! For those that have been following me for a while, you may have heard that I was planning to launch a membership that will help OTs learn to be better OTs who love what they do, through teaching them about my Foundations of OT Success. Well, I’m thrilled to say that launch day has finally arrived! For my YOTT Alliance members, you’ll be able to access all this: - Monthly live online workshop - Monthly live online Q&A session - Regular live and recorded journal club sessions - On-demand library of resources, recorded webinars and links to my favourite websites and resources - Discounts on Your OT Tutor online courses - Exclusive access to a private online community The topics and content will be relevant to OTs working across a range of settings. OT students, new graduates, and experienced OTs are all welcome. I want to make this as accessible as possible to as many OTs as possible, so the early birds that sign-up in the next few weeks will get all this for only $25 per person per month! Someone sent me this one. I hold this position in 2014 (almost 10 years ago). Service-Learning was not popular in Vietnam that time. The university asked me to write my own jobs description and the entire function of Service-Learning Center. I was lucky to see how Service-Learning has been transformed and implemented in Vietnam and globally. I was lucky to see Service-Learning as all the stackholder views: Management of the university, the community partner (NGOs) and the instructor of the Service-Learning course (I have curated 1 compulsory SL course 3-credit for one private university). There are no absolute correct way to do/implement Service-Learning. Just needs to focus on two simple words: Service and Learning and see how your students can learn and practice “Compassion”.
