The release of our latest episode on Flourish FM featuring Susan Kaiser Greenland has arrived! Out now on all channels 🎧 🔈 In this episode, Susan, Jon and Nick chat real-world enlightenment. What it is, how to detect it and how to make it more likely to occur. Here's a few key takeaways from the conversation: 1. Real World Enlightenment: Susan introduced us to the concept of real-world enlightenment, which is all about those moments when we feel a deep connection to something greater than ourselves. These moments, whether pleasant or unpleasant, are transformative and can lead to a profound sense of meaning and connection. 2. Golden Threads: Susan shared the idea of "Golden Threads," which are universal themes found in various wisdom traditions. These themes, such as kindness, compassion, and interdependence, can help us navigate life with more wisdom and compassion. By focusing on these golden threads, we can cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Small Actions for Meaningful Transformation: Susan emphasized the importance of small daily actions in promoting meaningful transformation. By bringing awareness to our actions, focusing on the goodness of what we do, and practicing appreciation for the small things in life, we can create a ripple effect of positivity and connection in our daily lives. If you're interested in learning more about real-world enlightenment, we highly recommend listening to this episode with Susan Kaiser Greenland. https://lnkd.in/ekHVxVYN

Have you ever been mistaken for being ARROGANT when you were just CONFIDENT? I get it—sometimes self-belief can come off the wrong way. Here’s the thing: when I’m in my studio, I feel 100% in my zone. But put me on a stage? Whole different story. I’m not as comfortable, and honestly, I’ve got fewer reps in front of a live audience. Confidence isn’t arrogance; it’s just comfort in the SKILLS you’ve BUILT. So the lesson? Don’t let someone else’s judgment shake your belief in yourself—just keep putting in the REPS until it becomes YOUR zone of comfort, too. 💪❤️ See the link in the comment below to listen to the full episode.

Influence is one of the most powerful tools a manager has. In this episode we will discuss What It is, why it’s Important and how can you increase yours and use it most effectively. Communication is how you move from merely providing information to entertaining, directing, or inspiring others and, eventually, to influencing them. And, influence is more than words, it is about building a strong emotional bond with your audience. Keep in mind, when we say “audience” in this episode, we mean everything from a single person to a room-full. Influence is all about building an emotional connection with your audience. That connection is what determines whether or not people are going to like you, trust you, and want to follow you. Listen to the episode here: https://lnkd.in/ek2zRxhk

In this episode, I’m gonna be discussing how to go about letting go of the past version of yourself in order for you to focus on the present and the future better version of yourself. A lot of people like to hang onto the past, and the present and the future is still stagnant. The present and the future cannot move forward until you let go of the past. And even though you’re trying to hold onto past experiences that were positive, times still continues to move, even if you decide to stay stagnant and focusing on the past . A part of recovery is being able to let go of the past, and focus on the presents and the future version of you. The things in your past didn’t work for a reason. So what is the point of bringing things from the past that didn’t work for you in your present and your future. I know it’s difficult to let go of the past version of yourself, and what worked for you then, but it’s not going to help the present in the future version of yourself. It’s just going to make things worse. so this episode we’re gonna break down why people continue to hold onto the past, and don’t want to move forward. And why people need to let go of the past in order for the present and the future to thrive?

Is your life driven by false urgency? 🚨 The culture pushes us into false urgency to produce what it wants, and in this episode of Bewildered, Martha and Ro talk about how to step out of this kind of urgency to respond to our “creative urgency” instead. 🎨 Ro says before we can even begin to respond to our creative urgency, we need to relax and pull back from false urgency—or we won't recognize the real thing when it comes. Martha adds that if you get some space and allow that creativity to arise within you, it will feel like going into light and delight—no matter how trivial your creative endeavor may look to the eyes of the culture. 🧐 Quoting the poet Jack Gilbert, Martha shares, ""We must risk delight. We can do without pleasure, but not delight, not enjoyment. We must have the stubbornness to accept our gladness in the ruthless furnace of the world."" To find out how you can tell the difference between false urgency and creative urgency, and build the courage to follow what delights you, be sure to catch the full conversation!
