“Never stop getting better” is a phrase that we strive to implement every day at Fusion. One of the most effective ways to improve is to surround yourself with wise counsel (Proverbs 13:20). Last week the Fusion Audio + Video, MAXICON LLC, and Logic Integration teams came together from across the country for a 3 day intensive workshop to learn from one another. We had a spectacular time laughing, learning, and sharing. We’re thankful to call these guys friends and mentors! Here's my pitch on the pipeline I've set up over the past 15 days. The video is dedicated to people in the same field, but it provides a good overview of audio production for producers in general. Otherwise, there's only one thing missing in ReaWwise to make the pipeline perfect: the automatic transfer of variables from a Wwise object by clicking on it to retrieve the object names in ReaWwise. #audiokinetic #wwise #reaper #reawwise #pipeline #producer

While I like to post our clean setup and our final versions of edited videos, sometimes it’s nice to share a behind the scenes look of what goes on with our Creative Services team. • • • • This week I have been blessed with another year of working in Kansas City for the Big 12 Tournament. While this is one of my favorite times of the year, this does require some help from those around me. Andrew Mowder has always been great about stepping up when asked, and this week has been no different with me being out-of-office. We’ve had some minor technical issues with our audio system, but those are being ironed out today with some help from our industry professionals. In order for those issues to be resolved, our normal broadcast computer would be compromised in order to make changes and troubleshoot solutions. So, what does Andrew do? Does he let our customers know there is no broadcast because of some slight technical issues? 𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐍𝐎𝐓! Andrew works late last night and early this morning to configure a mobile solution that would allow him to broadcast for our customers. This mobile solution still allows for our customers to see every angle they expect, get an in-depth view of the production, but also allows for our Technical Center to keep operating in it's usual fashion with no hiccups. I need to give another thanks to CHUCK NILL, CTS at PINNACLE ELECTRIC INC and Brandon Weaver for being able to step in and help when needed. Without their guidance and expertise, we would not be able to give our customers the experience they've come to expect at the Wenger Technical Center. I help content creators take the hassle out of live content by using the cloud. | Broadcast TD | vMix and Vectar Operator | IATSE | IBEW
The Cloud is disrupting the remote broadcast industry, especially for those of us in the control room. We already have graphics, replay ops, and intercom and engineering support specialists working from home. Audio mixers and TDs will be next. There are still some technical hurdles, but those are quickly getting solved. I’ve studied this space since 2019, and here are 3 things you can do to future-proof your career: 1. Learn the new tools Software tools are gaining traction, learn them: vMix and Tricaster/Vectar are big players. Search for vMix tutorials or sign up for the free Viz University to learn Tricaster 2. Invest in some gear Buy a control surface like streamdeck or xkeys. Download Central Control or Bitfocus Companion. Learn how to setup this software. This is quickly becoming the new way to run smaller shows. 3. Show the world what you do. You won’t get hired if you don’t tell anybody what you do, share with anyone who will listen, and post often, especially here on LinkedIn. 📣Drop a pic of your setup on this post for extra reach. #cloudproduction #remoteproduction
