Systems Safety Engineer AI and Autonomous Driving at SEADO | Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering
A Plattform can help for safety and requirements engineering for automated driving? I've worked with 10 companies and identified similarities, worked it out with my team.... Requirements, Architecture, Safety always seem to be a big questionmark in any company.... But in the end they all look the similar... Why? You build products with the same intention and need to write according to the same standards... Automated Driving in Cities, on Highways, in Parking Lots....ISO 26262, A-SPICE, ... So I decided to build up own Requirements based on Regulations and Safety Analysis, Scenarios and Hazards to accelerate autonomous driving development..... Look at this example from UN-ECE 157 to Sensor Requirements. Are you ready to learn more? Just ping me

"After reviewing the incident, [the AV company] indicated that its car had struggled to recognize the fire trucks because they were yellow, not red." How can their management sleep well? CASE preaches proper up-front and in-the-dev-loop Systems Engineering. It is doable! Writing a requirement or assumption related to the color(s) of a certain type of emergency vehicles is no magic. CASE wants to help you set up your organization and workflow with the right structure and automatisms in a way that these things do not slip through. That is how management can sleep well. https://lnkd.in/eThMr2ar

💡 "𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬... 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤?" Do you know where exactly the so-called tripod joint is used in a car? Often only design engineers or mechanical engineers will know the answer. This important structure is located between the axle drive and the drive shaft. It transmits the entire driving force of the engine and enormous forces act inside it. Would you like to find out more? The link to our blog is in the comments. #emaggroup #manufacturing #blog #tripodjoint

Very proud that one of my pending publications from my PhD research time has finally been published. This is why I think this paper is very interesting: - We introduce a new framework, bringing Gridding Linear Parameter Varying approaches to Discrete Time – a first as far as I'm aware. - We present Linear Matrix Inequalities techniques to synthesize State-Feedback controllers with a fixed parameter dependent structure. This means that the control engineer has freedom over the final structure of the controller by design and can use LPV techniques with reduced implementation effort. - It's not just theory – we've demonstrated the technique's efficacy with the scaled autonomous vehicle platform at GIPSA-lab. These results wouldnt be possible without the guidance of my supervisors during my PhD, Prof. Olivier Sename and Prof. Vicenç Puig, thanks a lot to both of them. For those eager to delve deeper, a preprint version of the paper is accessible here: https://lnkd.in/gHjKMmse . Additionally, I am gradually working on organizing the Matlab code in order to share this and other works of my PhD. Stay informed for updates, or do not hesitate to reach out should you wish to explore further into the technical intricacies. Stay tuned for updates, or feel free to reach out if you're interested in diving deeper into the technical side! 🤓 #ControlEngineering #LPV #RealWorldApplication
Very proud of our new paper recently accepted in Control Engineering Practice !! Congratulations to our former PhD student Ariel Medero Borrell for his amazing work in that topic !
