The UK has the second-largest aerospace industry in the world, after the United States. It accounts for about 17% of the global aerospace market. ✈ The industry generates approximately £35 billion annually and employs over 111,000 people directly, with another 156,000 indirectly through its supply chain. However, there is a significant shortage of skilled workers in #STEM fields, particularly engineers, technicians, and specialists in emerging technologies.
