Great brands define who they are and who they are for. Sometimes you also have to say who you are NOT for...and that can be polarizing for some. City of Miami Beach just took a breakthrough stance on Spring Break: if you're looking for a wild, lawless time at the expense of the community and other visitors trying to respectfully have a good time, we do not want you. We are breaking up with bad spring breakers. Check the video below! Awesome strategy and creative roll out. Hopefully it achieves the imminent objective of discouraging bad behavior AND the long-term, brand building effort to make Miami Beach a safe, enjoyable destination for all. And if you don't like it, then you don't have to visit. Miami Beach might not be for everyone, but for everyone that comes and respects the community and their fellow visitors, it will be a better place to visit or call home.
