We will be travelling the UK with two shows, our brand new show ‘The Legend of Houdini’, and, returning after a successful tour this spring, ‘The Non-Psychic ‘Psychic’ Show’. I've been to more VidCons than anyone else, first as a speaker and sponsor, then running the industry track and finally taking over as CEO and selling it to Viacom. Enjoy the show! TLDW: Good shoes, water bottle, industry lounge, content everywhere, have fun! What's your best tip for getting the most out of VidCon - or other summits, festivals and conventions?

Never meet your heroes etc etc… Had a great time at MAD//FEST this week, presenting on the creativity stage, and then getting to hear from (and briefly meet in a very uncool ‘I love you I love your stuff I’ve seen all your shows please can I have a photo please!’ moment) Eddie Izzard. Eddie was interviewed on stage about creativity, and made some really interesting points: - Think sideways. Dont just look at something and think ‘oh, that’s that thing’. Look at it and think ‘oh, what could that be? What if it wasn’t that? What would happen if…’ - The importance of social purpose in organisations. ‘By all means, make profit, but whilst you’re doing it, try and make the world a better place, too’ - If youre afraid of something - say, public speaking - do it until you’re not afraid of it anymore (doesn’t apply to being afraid of falling onto a spike) - The importance of setbacks on building character, and having the ‘determination gene’ not to wait until someone lets you do something, but to just go and do it yourself. - Set out only to impress yourself. That’s enough.
