As a CivStart mentor, I'm excited about the sixth annual Govtech Accelerator Program kickoff — the largest cohort yet. The Accelerator received a record 117 applicants! The cohort of 16 startups was carefully chosen through a rigorous vetting process overseen by CivStart's Selection Committee, comprising both former and current public and private-sector leaders. These entrepreneurs are putting the AI revolution to work for stronger, better local government and the communities they serve. CivStart is a non-profit with a mission to spark innovation in local government. I'm particularly excited to see the progress of some of the Community Engagement and Data-Analysis organizations including People Supported Intelligence (PSi) by female founder Georgina Denis. Check out all the start-ups here: https://lnkd.in/guCUNf-r #startup #govtech #civicengagement #femalefounders #AI #artificialintellegence #entrepreneurship
