We’re excited to share our recent roof project at the historic Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, established in 1836 as the HJ Brown Coffin House. 🏠✨ Did you know? Brown-Wynne is Raleigh & Wake County’s oldest operating business and North Carolina’s oldest operating funeral establishment. Founded by Henry J. Brown, this local landmark has a rich history of innovation and service. From transferring 267 Confederate soldiers in 1868 to introducing motor-driven hearses in 1915, Brown-Wynne has always been at the forefront of change. Today, as a Dignity Memorial Provider, they continue to uphold their legacy of exceptional service. We are proud to have contributed to preserving this piece of Raleigh’s history by replacing a large area of an older roof with new insulation and a TPO membrane. #HistoricalRestoration #RaleighNC #G3Roofing #brownwynnefuneralhome
