Diving Deep into Cyber-Warfare at the ANU Yesterday, in our course "Cybercrime: an introduction," hosted by the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods and supported by the ANU Cybercrime Observatory. We had the distinct honor of being joined by MJ Lasse Kronborg, Deputy Head at the Royal Danish Defense College, Institute for Military Technology. As a subject matter expert in Cyber Warfare and Cyberspace Operations, Lasse enriched our understanding with his in-depth knowledge on: [1️] How nation-states continually update their cyberspace capabilities.  [2️] The evolving role of cyber-espionage in global conflict.  [3️] Doctrines like MAD in traditional military strategies and their potential cyber counterparts.  [4️] Psychological and behavioral facets of cyberwarfare.  [5️] The intricate relationship between state-sponsored cyber activities and cybercrime.  [6️] The potential role of entities like the United Nations in addressing cyber-conflicts. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lasse and the Danish Defence for delivering this enlightening lecture on this intricate subject. The chance to interact with global specialists undoubtedly enriches the educational experience of our students. #guestlecture #cyberwarfare #militarytraining #cyberspace #RoyalDanishDefenceCollege #DanishDefence #cybersecurity #TheAustralianNationalUniversity #ANUCSRM #ANUCybercrimeObservatory
