DoDEA schools excel, just like our students! The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose Advanced Placement programs are delivering results for students while broadening access to advanced coursework. The LDOE released School Performance Scores this morning. After a quick look, this stood out... There are five tuition-free A or B rated High Schools in East Baton Rouge. Two of them are magnet schools (Baton Rouge High and Liberty High) that have selective admissions, the other three are charter schools (GEO Next Generation High School, BASIS, and Madison Prep). This highlights the vital role that school choice plays in providing high-quality education options for our students. Charter schools, in particular, have shown their ability to innovate and deliver results, offering students a pathway to success in college, careers, and beyond. Expanding access to school choice ensures that every family has the opportunity to choose excellence for their children’s education.
