https://lnkd.in/gazGEDz7 In the first case, KLIA does not require the service of express train between airport and Sentral at brickfield. Instead, a direct mrt train serving Sentral and KLIA is a more economical solution, and cheaper to run. Airport in HK that has direct subway link to the cbd is a viable solution for Selangor and KL.

China is doing wonderful job for the development of African countries it was kept untouchable by Anglo American and European countries only loot their high value gold, plantinium, uranium , diamonds, Lithium and high value minerals by corrupting African power hunger leaders. But for the past 80 years Indians especially Gujaratis developed trading and basic industries, but government India did not encourage them and Gujaratis couldn’t much. Recently China is withdrawing trillion of $ which are lying in American central bank their trade surplus$ and investing in African countries. Also China and Indian companies are encouraging African countries to do the value addition to their natural resources and started many industries like cashew processing, iron and steel, cement, sugar, gold refineries and copper metals. For example Vedanta started copper smelter, Jindal in coal mining. Recently Adani group has taken port development in Tanzania. But African countries are going ungrateful with China and Indian companies.

#Tanzania has taken a major step forward in its railway modernisation efforts with the arrival of two new #electric multiple unit (EMU) trains from South Korea. These state-of-the-art trains have eight carriages each and will be used on the new route connecting #DarEsSalaam and #Dodoma, scheduled to begin service on 25 July 2024. This represents a significant improvement for the standard gauge rail (SGR) network. Adding to the excitement, reports indicate the launch of an express train service between Dar es Salaam and Morogoro starting this Friday, further enhancing travel options for passengers. The Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) has purchased 10 sets of locomotives and carriages from South Korea’s Hyundai Rotem. Each set includes eight carriages, with a locomotive at both the front and rear, and has a capacity to carry 589 passengers and a travel speed of 160 kilometres per hour. In the announcement seen by The Citizen, the two new devices bring the total number of devices already in the country to three, with the first being the one that arrived in April of this year, noting that it is the one currently being tested. “TRC has received a total of 65 passenger coaches, 17 electric locomotives and three EMU train sets; the receipt of the equipment for SGR operations is ongoing in different phases,” the statement reads in part. “Newly arrived equipment will continue to undergo safety testing before entering service,” it reads elsewhere. The statement further said the corporation was proceeding with initial operations and provision of #ElectricTrain transport services through international standard between Dar es Salaam and Morogoro.
