We the people of Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 that's how we started our mornings, and that's the norm for students today. Some may think that this country will become a "Developed" country. My advice, if you wish to live in a Developed country, move to one. Because PNG will NEVER be a "Developed" country. Stagnant or very slowly. Same story, same so-called leaders, etc.... same old same old. Time is spent on fighting over power or rearranging their new structures while the people suffer. before you know it, elections appear. and the same thing starts all over. Until and unless, there are "True Leaders". Not businessmen (Moni man), I'm talking about true leaders that put their comfort last, and the people first, PNG will be come a Developed country. Someone wants to make us a rich black Christan national while we already are (natural resources, human resource, etc.) True Leadership is the key 🗝️ to move this nation forward.

Leadership is a Calling and the utmost responsibility of a leader is to influence others in a direction that produces results...The result speaks for itself, sets the tone and becomes a standard of measurement. And if a leader outperforms in a chosen direction, future successors who have no business in leadership become sorely afraid to step into the leader's shoes because of the high standards the preceding leaders have set as yardstick for measuring future leaders' performance... However, if leaders mismanage our resources and fail to deliver like what is currently happening across the African Continent, anyone at all can throw themselves up for consideration to lead their respective countries because the standard has been lowered by previous leaders.... This is the crust of the democracy in the subregion and for Ghana in particular though difficult to admit by the political office holders and their beneficiaries and cronies. Africa must rise... Arise African youth for your continent... Cheers E. Prince Amegatse

The African continent is not a story of inadequate resources. It is not a story of people who are unable to think for themselves or who are not creative enough to produce things that sustain them. Neither is is a story of inadequate manpower to propel its economy. Africa is however a story of poor governance, where despite gaining independence, its leaders have still perpetuated colonialism, allowing artificial boundaries to separate us.Allowing corruption to define the way of governance, making a politician to be better than a teacher and a farmer and a doctor and an engineer. More than ever, we young people to set the pace of what we truly need as a continent. We need to define what leadership means to us, go to the drawing board and determine the characteristics of a good leader. We then need to to teach our children and let them know what it means to have a good leader. Today, I will be discussing on Ethical leadership and I hope you will sail with me. There is a prevailing belief among many Ghanaians that business people and entrepreneurs can govern a nation solely because they have employees and have made some impact. This notion has been exemplified by individuals like Paa Kwesi Ndoum, Kennedy Agyapong, and now Cheddar, who are being considered potential leaders. The question then arises: Who will be the next leader? Despite or Ibrahim? However, it is important to recognize that possessing a narrow professional background alone is not a sufficient qualification for the presidency. It is also worth noting that even the spokesperson for Cheddar's movement is a complete foreigner. This raises the question of how someone lacking an understanding of our politics and its alignment with the Constitution can effectively lead a nation. While I understand their perspective, I want to emphasize that effective and efficient leadership requires a diverse range of skills and qualities beyond entrepreneurship or business success. While running companies may not be the sole criterion for the presidency, it is important to consider a candidate's experience and track record in leadership positions. Regarding Cheddar, they mention that he articulates a genuine vision and has achieved success in various ventures. However, it is important to note that anyone can speak great visions regardless of their background. Articulating a vision is the easiest thing for an aspiring leader to do. Undoubtedly, a clear vision and a history of accomplishments are valuable qualities for a leader. However, it is crucial to thoroughly evaluate a candidate's ability to translate that vision into transformative and efficient governance. They also highlight the importance of an industrious personality, drawing a parallel with the impact of Kwame Nkrumah's industriousness on Ghana and Africa. While hard work and dedication are undoubtedly valuable traits in a leader, it is still essential to assess a candidate's overall competence, integrity, understanding of governance systems, and capacity to address complex socio-political issues. Ultimately, the decision to support a candidate should be based on a comprehensive assessment of their qualifications, experience, leadership abilities, values, and alignment with the needs and aspirations of the nation. It is the responsibility of citizens to critically evaluate candidates and make informed choices that will contribute to the progress and well-being of the country. #leadership #ghana #GhanaNews #Transformation

Director General at Nigerian Books of Record NBR & an Ambassador of the Sovereign Kingdom of Hawaii to Nigeria.
The devastating scenes unfolding in the UK, where riots and protests have turned violent, targeting black immigrants and ethnic minorities, are a stark reminder of the destructive nature of fear, misinformation, and division. As Nigeria issues a travel advisory to its citizens, I can't help but feel a deep sense of sadness and concern. The UK, once a beacon of civilization and tolerance, is now grappling with the consequences of xenophobia and hate. The riots, fueled by false information and prejudice, have resulted in harm to innocent people and communities. It's a stark reminder that when we allow fear and misinformation to guide us, we risk losing our humanity. To my fellow Nigerians in the UK, I urge you to exercise extreme caution and vigilance. Avoid crowded areas, protests, and gatherings. Stay informed and prioritize your safety above all else. But my thoughts also turn to Nigeria, where protests against bad governance and hunger have turned violent in some parts of the North. To the Nigerian youths, I implore you to embrace dialogue and peaceful engagement. Violence only begets more violence, and destruction only leads to suffering. Let us recognize that we are all victims of circumstance, environment, and opportunity. Let us work towards creating a world where everyone has access to the same opportunities, regardless of their background or nationality. In this moment of chaos and uncertainty, let us choose empathy, understanding, and compassion. Let us choose to see each other as human beings, deserving of dignity and respect. To the leaders, I ask: will you lead with shared human interests? Will you prioritize the well-being of your citizens, or will you succumb to the pressures of division and fear? As I reflect on these events, I am reminded that we are all in this together. Our individual actions, choices, and attitudes have the power to shape our collective future. Let us strive for a world where everyone can thrive, regardless of their background or nationality. Stay safe, dear friends, and let us work towards a brighter, more compassionate future. -

This was in the United Kingdom, right 🤗, not Africa ✅ This shows,we have a collective responsibility to guide our youth ✅👋 It's a global recession, right,so it's all over. I believe it's time for us as adults to show good example and guide our youth, against stuffs like this ✅ And also for government all over to provide great leadership and an enabling environment for peace and prosperity. It's really getting scary 🤔 The youth are supposedly leaders of tomorrow, right, so you can imagine youth with this kind of negative mindset and energy as leaders 🤔🤔🤔✅🙏 Please, let's share in your thoughts 👏 #leadership #behaviouralguidance #youth #adult #counselling #negativeenergy #negativemindset #unitedkingdom #africa

It’s hard to believe it’s been six years since the world lost Kofi Annan. His tenure as Secretary-General of the United Nations didn’t just inspire me—it shaped the course of my life and leadership journey. As a young adult with global ambitions, I would track down his speeches and recite them in front of the mirror, imagining how I, too, could one day contribute to meaningful global change. The fact that someone from my homeland, #Ghana, could rise to such a significant role in world leadership gave me hope and fueled my drive. Little did I know that years later, I’d find myself in the same room with him during sessions at the World Economic Forum. My admiration for his leadership even led me to study at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) where I earned my Masters in Gender, Peace & Security. His impact on me is a constant reminder to walk a similar path of purpose, striving to make a difference that brings pride to Ghana and the world. Six years on, his legacy still lights the way for me as I work to elevate African voices and develop the next generation of leaders. As a trusted advisor, leader developer, speaker, and author with nearly two decades of experience in youth and women’s leadership development, I remain committed to living a life of significant impact—one that reflects the pride and excellence Kofi Annan embodied. Let’s keep walking in the footsteps of greatness, ensuring that our contributions echo for generations to come. #Leadership #AfricanVoices #GlobalImpact

It’s truly disheartening and embarrassing that our African leaders, particularly those from sub-Saharan Africa, have brought such shame and disappointment to our people. The fact that a small country like South Korea can host a summit with forty-eight African nations speaks volumes about the state of governance and leadership in our continent. We see American-Africa summits, Russia-Africa summits, China-Africa summits, and now a South Korea-Africa summit. How is it that a single, small nation can summon the collective presence of nearly an entire continent? The answer lies in the corrupt politicians and incompetent governance that have reduced our great nations to this state. Our leaders should reflect on their actions and strive to restore the dignity and respect that Africa deserves on the global stage. It’s a shame that we’ve been reduced to this by those who were supposed to uplift us.

Analyzing leadership gaps @AriseNews, I questioned if Nigeria has enough smart leaders who recognize and invest in young people's potential. Our future depends on this foresight. With 50% of our population under 30, we need visionaries crafting opportunities to harness the ingenuity of youth. Are we emancipating or neglecting our demographic dividend? #DRconstanceikokwuinsights
