A few days late but wanted to share some thoughts on Allstate's Annual Sales Conference in Jacksonville last week. 1. We have incredible leadership with lazer-focused vision. 2. Although we are currently for sale, I couldn't be more excited about the continued focus and initiatives we are part of and what the future holds 3. We are truly "The Carrier of the Future" and can accommodate health needs in the Individual segment to some of the largest employers in the world. 4. I had a great year and reached several goals. It wouldn't come without the help and collaboration of my broker-partners, my internal teams, peers and leadership. Truly a team effort. Lastly, as a father of 3 boys who are active in sports, dirt bikes, and all things crazy boys do.....we are the poster family for Accident Insurance. I'm also a stroke victim that was humbled a few years ago. Whether it's Allstate or Carrier B, please consider your benefit options. Your employer offers these coverages for you to consider with the help of their broker consulting them on why they should be offered. Cancer, Life Insurance, Hospital & Sickness, Critical Illnesses....the list goes on.....take advantage of the coverage if it's offered.

I have a question for the Property and Casualty Insurance folks out there. Your industry is high volume with a mix of sales and customer service skills required of your agents. With little time to truly service the customer before another phone call comes along. ▶ What is the biggest challenge you currently deal with? Do you feel agents should be both producers 💲and customer service providers 👋🏻 , or should the roles be divided and complement each other? Or do you feel the agent doing both complements the role? #propertycasualty #insuranceagency #culture

A Bumper Engagement: The Tale of the Repair Rumble In the lively streets of Victoria, car repairs and banter flowed as local shops buzzed with activity. A hero, a savvy bloke adept at navigating repair disputes, was always ready for action with his trusty ride and a mobile phone that buzzed nonstop. One afternoon, he received a frantic call from a repairer facing trouble: “Oi, mate! They won’t let me charge for fixing a car after a customer backed into a pole!” The hero grinned, “No worries! Let’s sort it before you’re in a bind!” As he navigated the chaos, he encountered quirky characters trying to pull a fast one, like one billing a fortune for a simple spray job. “Crikey!” he laughed, “What’s next? A charge for picking a shade of blue?” The repairers followed a code of conduct to protect against questionable practices and insurance pitfalls. He advised them, “Keep it above board; just remind those insurance blokes we're here to fix cars—no mucking about!” Soon, repairers called him like a pub quiz champ seeking answers. Laughter filled the shops as they swapped absurd stories and tackled wild claims together. One repairer, panicking, asked if he could charge extra post-customer mistake. “Absolutely! Just say you’re giving it a proper once-over!” came the quick response. Through humor and camaraderie, the crew strengthened their bond, strategizing to face insurance companies as a united front. By tale’s end, the hero had fostered a family vibe, proving teamwork and a good laugh could take the chaos out of car repairs. 🚗💥🎉 #AutomotiveIndustry #CarRepair #InsuranceClaims

Let's chat about an important aspect of sales, especially in the insurance industry - why prioritizing quality beats chasing the lowest price. Imagine strolling into a high-end car dealership, eyeing that sleek Ferrari on display. What are you really after? It's more than just the price tag, right? You're seeking top-notch quality, reliability, and that feeling of luxury. Well, guess what? The same goes for insurance. At any reputable insurance agency, the focus should be on delivering reliable coverage that clients can trust, not just on offering the cheapest deal. It's about providing tailored solutions that fit like a glove, and understanding that one size doesn't fit all. Just like how a luxury car dealer customizes your ride, a good insurance agent crafts policies to your specific needs. And let's not forget the importance of expert guidance. Good agents are like trusted advisors, helping you navigate the maze of insurance options, making sure you understand what you're getting. Sure, there might be cheaper options out there, but do they offer the peace of mind you're looking for? Quality coverage is about more than just the price tag. It's about comprehensive protection, reliable service, and knowing you're in good hands. When your agents are selling on price, and price alone, go back to the Ferrari dealership analogy above...price and premium should really be the last thing you talk about!

5 things to know if you're ever involved in a hit-and-run ⤵️ ✔️ Stay CALM. Make sure your surroundings are safe. I know it's a frustrating time, but you want to make sure that you and anybody else involved in the car crash are safe. Take a deep breath and know that there are ways to find the vehicle that went away. It's never advisable to go after the car yourself. ✔️ Document the details! If you had a chance to take a glance at the license plate of the car that got away, write it down immediately. Take note of the color of the car, type of car, model, etc. *BONUS TIPS: If there are other cars involved in the crash who are still at the scene, get their information too. Take photos of the details too, any injuries, the cars, damage to the cars, and the surroundings. ✔️ Call the police ASAP. If you know the license plate information for the car that got away, let the police know immediately. ✔️ Witnesses. Scope the scene to see if there are any witnesses around, and get their contact information, their names, and any record of what they saw. *BONUS TIP: Check for surveillance cameras, a lot of commercial establishments and ring cameras of residences have surveillance cameras. This footage will help your case that much more. ✔️ Call your insurance company & file a claim. Just because the crash wasn't your fault doesn't mean your insurance company doesn't need to be involved. Your insurance company will also be able to help run a policy search and locate the insurance for the getaway car if you happen to have their license plate or any indicating information about the vehicle. We hope you never find yourself in this situation, but knowledge is power. It's better to know what your resources are than to have no information on what to do. Questions? Platform Product manager opening posted 6 hours ago. Why aren’t you getting more product manager interviews? There’s a pattern here folks of the types of roles hiring managers are positing for. I have been posting product manager roles nonstop and figured out one of the reasons you are not getting interviews is that your resume may not (MAY NOT) be tailored for the role, because you “think” you don’t have direct experience. These are the most commonly posted product manager roles and also the industries that are thriving. Digital payments Healthcare or Health Tech E-commerce Data Privacy and/or Cybersecurity Growth AI Product Strategy and Roadmap Recently Funded Startup of First PM Hire (💰💰💰) Automotive Product Leader (ie head or director of product) I have a resume template for each type of product manager role in Skool! https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH See you in Skool for the resume templates. https://lnkd.in/gtQjCfUH PS Are you curious how my team is able to get to these roles as fast as we do? 🍫 ⋆ 🍰 🎀 𝐿𝒾𝒶𝓃𝑒 𝐹𝓁💞☯𝒹 𝑅𝒶𝓃𝓉❢ 🎀 🍰 ⋆ 🍫 I decided to upgrade my car and now I have a story to tell. And I've got a bone to pick with the dealership and my insurance company! Picture this: I decide it's time to upgrade from my trusty Honda CRV to a shiny new car. I strolled into the dealership, thinking it's going to be a breeze, maybe even fun. Spoiler alert: it's was not. 😒 First, let's talk about the dealership. I walked in, and suddenly, it's like I have entered a bizarre parallel universe where time moves slower, and nothing made sense. I was greeted by a salesperson who was slick (believe me the snake oil vile was on his desk), but apparently, communication skills weren't included in his sales training. I tried try to ask a simple question about the car's features, and he responded with a rehearsed monologue that left me more confused than enlightened. It's like they're speaking in tongues, and I was left nodding along, hoping he would eventually say something that made sense. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, and I decided on a car. I thought the hard part's over, right? Wrong! Next comes the paperwork. Oh, the paperwork! It was like signing my life away. They handed me a stack of documents thicker than a phone book and my husband says aren’t you going to read all the fine print? 😕 I was just praying that I didn't just agree to donate my firstborn 😧. And let's not forget the upselling – extended warranties, paint protection, nitrogen-filled tires – you name it, they're trying to sell it. You'd think buying a car would be straightforward, but no, it's like navigating a minefield. But wait, there's more! Now I needed insurance for my new pride and joy. I thought, "No problem, I'll just call my insurance company and switch my policy." Ha! Good luck with that. I dialed the number, and after navigating a labyrinth of automated prompts, I finally reach a human being. Or at least, I though it was a human being. He put me on hold, transferred me to three different departments, and asked for information that I had already given them five times. By the end of the call, I was questioning my own sanity.(and I still don’t know how much a month that I will be paying only that it will be lower by having one car vs two) WTAF? In conclusion, buying a new car should be a thrilling experience, but instead, for me it was a gauntlet of poor communication, endless paperwork, and mind-numbing frustration. The dealership and insurance companies seem to have mastered the art of making the simplest tasks excruciatingly difficult. So, here's a tip: if you're thinking about buying a new car, brace yourself. It's going to be a bumpy ride. #cardealership #Insurance #FunnyRant #TheMoreYouKnow #WhoWouldHaveThought
