CAE has introduced a revolutionary pilot training app for Apple’s Vision Pro, allowing pilots to train from the comfort of their own home using spatial computing. The app, showcased at National Business Aviation Association-BACE 2024, offers an immersive experience that recreates real-world flight deck interactions, enabling pilots to practice critical procedures and develop muscle memory remotely. Emmanuel Levitte, CAE’s Chief Technology and Product Officer, highlighted the app's potential to enhance pilot preparedness for full-flight simulator sessions. I'm pleased to announce the launch of "Fly Right", an Android aviation app for student and recreational pilots! As a pilot, I found it challenging to get FAA data without paying for expensive flight software, many of which are not even available on Android devices. Fly Right consolidates all essential aviation information into one convenient app, making it easier for recreational pilots to access the data they need without the hassle of multiple apps. Developed using Flutter and Android Studio. Features Include : -Comprehensive ATIS Data: Easily retrieve Airport Terminal Information System (ATIS) data for all facilities. -Official FAA Airport Diagrams: Access detailed airport diagrams with zoom and pan capabilities. -Weather Information: Get real-time METAR and TAF weather data to stay informed about current and forecasted conditions. -User-Friendly Interface: Enjoy a clean, simple, and intuitive interface designed with pilots in mind.
