Every March, we celebrate the achievements and history of women as part of Women’s History Month, and today is International Women's Day! Each year the National Women’s History Alliance chooses a theme for Women’s History Month. The theme for 2024 is "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” "It takes courage for women to advocate for practical goals like equity, diversity and inclusion when established forces aim to misinterpret, exploit or discredit them. Throughout 2024, we honor local women from the past and present who have taken the lead to show the importance of change and to establish firmer safeguards, practices and legislation reflecting these values. Following decades of discrimination, we are proud to celebrate women who work for basic inclusion, equality and fairness." -National Women's History Alliance Women's History Month & International Women's Day is a great opportunity to explore women's contributions throughout history. A few ways you can further celebrate and advocate for women is to support women-owned businesses and organizations, support initiatives that encourage girls and women to pursue education, get involved & volunteer for women's organizations, and actively listen to and amplify the voices of women. #womenshistorymonth #internationalwomensday

Empowering an organization’s most valuable asset - its people. | Passionate Enablement Leader | LinkedIn Top Sales Voice | Innovative Content Developer | Engaging Facilitator
Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible impact women have across business and beyond, acknowledging our unique perspectives, innovation, and the collaborative environments we foster. In the realm of sales and business leadership, however, the journey toward equality remains ongoing. It’s still too common to enter a room and see a limited representation of women, particularly minority women. This day serves as a reminder of the strides we’ve made and the gaps we must still close. So let’s honor the achievements of women, address these challenges head-on, and commit to creating an equitable environment where all women have the opportunity to lead and inspire. Here’s to empowering women in every sphere, today and every day.
