I’m hiring for new roles soon. Here are 5 reasons you should NOT work with me: 1. You enjoy commuting. You are way more focused and productive at home but you feel like a true New Yorker when you ride the subway to work on a 90 degree summer day. 2. You love your title. Sure, there are tons of people that have even bigger titles that say they will always have seniority, but you love that you’ve made it as a Senior Junior Associate Principal Consultant Level II. 3. Meetings about doing things are way better than just getting things done. 4. You love writing long technical reports, even if no one reads them and your recommendations aren’t considered. It's the process that matters, not the result. 5. You love to do things with tried and true methods. “Textbook” is always the way to go over finding a better way or applying what you know to solve something new. Joking aside, some people thrive in a structured environment. Some people prefer to have a water cooler to talk at. That’s all great, but that’s not us. Great projects with world class design teams, completed as a team without all of the corporate baggage. If that does sound exciting, we should talk! #acousticdesign #acoustics #nyc

There are a lot of surprising findings in the 2024 Guide to Kickstarting Your Career from LinkedIn News, including where recent college grads are starting their professional lives. Tucson, Ariz.; Tallahassee, Fla.; and Gainesville, Fla. were the fastest growing cities for entry-level hiring. While those locations may be unexpected, new grads are lured to those locations by their low-cost of living and little or no income tax — especially compared to larger cities on the coasts like New York and Los Angeles. There are a lot of interesting takeaways for those looking to #GetStarted in their careers! 🔗 Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/2024careerstartersguide #GetHired #GetAhead

❗️I’M HIRING...❗️ARE YOU EXCEPTIONAL AT WHAT YOU DO? THEN READ ON... We are building a team of disruptive brilliance. This is what I AM NOT looking for... ❌ I don't care about your age. ❌ I don't care where you live. ❌ I don't care about your CV. ❌ I don’t care if you have a university degree. Now that is CLEAR. This is what I AM looking for... ✅ Positive attitude, ambition, character & perspective. ✅ People who want to take risks, experiment, fail and fall in love with learning. ✅ Passionate individuals who have a deep care for the work that they do, to the point that people who don’t care as much, think they’re a bit weird. ✅ If you excel in roles like project management, data analysis, social media strategy, graphic design, video editing, software development, or communications—essentially, if you consider yourself top-notch in your field—I'm eager to connect with you directly! There's just one condition...you need to present proof of your expertise. Let's see your accomplishments! I DON'T WANT to see your CV, show me evidence of what you have done. If you know someone that is truly the best at the thing they do, and you suspect they might be interested in a new fun, ambitious, journey, please tag them below! Please email me at jobs@twintone.ai with one piece of evidence that supports the fact that you're the best at the thing you do - I will be going through this inbox myself over the next 7-14 days and replying to everyone that I'm interested in talking to! 💜

Key learning when hiring this year: Focus on finding someone who has a strength you don’t have. Investing in someone smarter than you will always pay dividends to the team and the business.

Strategic Account Executive - Empowering Women & Supporting Clients with Software/Development, IT Infrastructure Support, Digital Transformation, Project Management Needs & More
College graduation season is around the corner, and Robert Half's Amber Watts shares great news on entry-level hiring and tips for employers: “There’s many advantages to hiring these entry level workers, some of the top being hiring skills. We’re in a talent shortage, a lot of these recent grads come tech savvy and ahead on technology. So they can really help companies innovate and grow. Next is culture. Think about your firsts job, you’re so excited, your energy is high, you bring a unique perspective to companies. And lastly, opportunity for long-term growth. If you bring in somebody and really teach them, train them, and develop them and continue to elevate their skills, you have the opportunity to really grow them within you organizations.” Great story by FOX26 Houston. #collegegraduates #entrylevelhiring #RobertHalf

The Friday before a new hire's start date... There are nerves. Think about the last time you were a new hire and all the stuff that was on your mind. So we have two new hires starting in Dallas on Monday, and I texted them both to make sure they have everything they need. And I also volunteered that "hey you will also have a fellow new hire joining on Monday and they're awesome and you'll love meeting them and you're probably going to be best friends." The responses were full of "Yay!"'s and "I'm so excited!"'s and "OBE is awesome!"'s. And we have two new hires ready to go. And they are about to have a new best friend. Because #candidateexperience. And in related news- OBE is awesome. The end :). #nowhiring #OBE #recruiting #recruitinglife #companyculture #recruitingdifferently #dallasjobs
