🌊 Gallifrey is an independent ocean conservation not-for-profit that works collaboratively to address several topics such as, but not limited to, shark protection, deep seabed mining, plastic pollution and chemicals, overfishing, ocean litigation, gender equality in climate change issues, ecocide.
📲 We are seeking an ocean-literate social media nerd intern to assist our small team. Main tasks will be to regularly feed the Instagram and Threads accounts as a priority, Facebook account secondly, as per our communications strategy. TikTok and YouTube will be developed at some point. We have left X/Twitter; the intern will not be in charge of LinkedIn.
✅ Requirements:
- Experience in social media posting and working with Canva (or other design tool)
- Genuine interest in, or knowledge of, marine conservation topics, and/or pursuing studies in the field of, e.g., marine biology, sustainability, environment, or related topics
- Excellent English and grammar skills, C1 minimum
- Creativity and sense of aesthetics/branding
- Autonomy: work will be done remotely, with occasional team meetings online
- We like to work with people who have a sense of humour.
