Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith’s Post

Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith has earned another victory in protecting our clients' business in the trucking and transportation industry. Director Tim Hassinger and Associate G. Colin Parker tried a case to verdict in Galveston District Court. After an interstate collision in Texas, The City of Texas City filed suit for the total loss of its ambulance that was struck by an approaching 18-wheeler, seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages as a result. After the Plaintiff rested, however, Galloway moved for directed verdict, arguing the Plaintiff failed to establish damages through admissible evidence at trial. The Court agreed, granted a directed verdict, and dismissed the Plaintiff's claims. Galloway attorneys like Tim and Colin go above and beyond in partnering with our clients to deliver positive outcomes that exceed their business objectives. Backed by the firm's 24/7 Emergency and Rapid Response team, our trucking & transportation attorneys are able to assist immediately in claims, trial preparation, and litigation. And as evident in this case, our knowledge, expertise, and successful strategies in trucking and transportation litigation led to a positive outcome for Galloway and our clients. #Trucking #Litigation #TexasLawyer #GallowayLawFirm #LegalExcellence
