3moThis tracks with what I hear from my network in the region. Many companies seem to have adopted a profit-first mentality, prioritizing cost-cutting over employee well-being. This has led to increased workloads, reduced compensation, and more stressful work environments. With few alternative job opportunities, employees feel trapped and become actively disengaged. While some great companies exist in the region, they are the exception rather than the rule at the moment. I hope we start to see a return to a more balanced and ultimately more successful approach to leadership soon!
