Dear Michael Gove - your attempt to define 'extremism' in order to criminalise pro-Palestinian protests and activism will fail. Sure you can define whatever you like - but the millions of Britons who have marched , protested, chanted and called for ceasefire time after time are a testimony to the British tradition of protest. The same that gave the UK universal suffrage and many of the rights we take for granted today. Your attempts will fail because we will fight this nonsense to cast valid protest as extremism in order to silence legitimate criticism of the UK government's complicity in the ongoing genocide being committed by #Israel. You know we will challenge this until it is removed and you know you will lose, but you will do it anyway because that is how this dance goes. By now, you are resigned to the fact that the Tories will be wiped out at the next general election. Not because Labour offer a better alternative - in fact they are probably worse (if that were even possible), so you have no reason to not do whatever gets you votes. Muslims in Britain are an easy target to politicise against. Your party has already mastered the trick of conflating Islamism with Muslims, so it's probably anyone's guess that you will advance this nonsense with your 'definition'.
