🚨 Important Update 🚨
Yesterday's UEFN updates and associated issues and crashes has thrown a curveball our way, impacting Creators on the Fortnite platform, including us. Our most successful games have unexpectedly broke down, causing a setback in the midst of crucial client pitches and brand integration efforts.
We're actively addressing what we can on our end, tirelessly working to restore normalcy. However, certain elements are beyond our control, and we're relying on Epic Games to swiftly resolve these issues.
This situation prompts important questions regarding the near future:
1️⃣ Rediscover Challenges: Will our games get another chance in Discovery, so they can regain their popularity once the technical glitches are sorted out?
2️⃣ Epic Creator Support: How does Epic plan to support all Creators - especially those heavily relying on the platform monetization - during and after such unforeseen challenges that are beyond our control?

Epic Games will change Payout Engagement Formula!

This is a program which pay creators who can engange players in their own game experiences.
Starting July 1st, Epic Games will update the engagement formula, giving more weight to creators who can:
1. Engange new players out of Fortnite ecosystem. (Who create a new account just to play the expirenece).
2. Reengage lapsed players. (Who have played in the past, but does not play for a while).
This is a great oportunitty for big Creators who have a big audience out of Fortnite, or Game Studios that already have a successfull game and want create a Fortnite version.

Supercell - the legendary studio behind Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, and Clash Royale - is launching their first new game in five years on May 29th!
Squad Busters continues the Tencent-owned studio's theme of approachable competitive games perfected for the mobile form factor. The core loop features 10 squads of Supercell characters battling it out to collect gems and be the last squad standing (The Verge compared it to a mini-MOBA)
Supercell has possibly the highest quality control of any game studio - before settling on Squad Busters after multiple rounds of regional testing, the studio soft launched and killed three other titles. Who knows how many more concepts never even made it that far?
Through its existing titles, Supercell consistently generates around $2B annually but growth has stagnated in recent years. If Squad Busters is a success, its likely to dramatically re-energize not only the existing portfolio, but the mobile market as a whole - driving growth not just for Tencent Games, but also Google Play, Apple, AppLovin, Unity, and others.
