This National Girl Child Day, we celebrate the remarkable success of our initiative Wheels of Change we launched last year to help young girls in the Dharashiv district of Maharashtra by making their access to schools easier. To address the issue of dropouts from high schools due to distance, we stepped in with a simple yet effective solution — distributing bicycles to these girls. This initiative not only made their commute easier but also encouraged families to send their daughters to school.
