Correction. It was a movie before it was a musical. And for those of us that enjoy the movie were very disappointed in how weird the musical was. It was actually pretty bad compared to movie.

Perfume Companies Have Found a New Way to Make You Crave What You Can't Smell✨
Perfume companies have always had a unique challenge - how do you market a product that customers can't experience until they purchase it? Many perfume brands have gotten creative with their marketing tactics to build desire for their fragrances, even when customers can't sample them in the store.
One tactic is to create a sense of exclusivity and mystery around new perfume launches. Brands will tease upcoming releases with vague descriptions, limited product reveals, and VIP launch events. This builds anticipation and a fear of missing out, making customers eager to get their hands on the "unsmelable" new scent.
Another technique is to lean into the emotional and aspirational aspects of perfume, rather than focusing solely on the fragrance notes. Ads often depict a luxurious lifestyle or evocative mood, inspiring consumers to associate the perfume with those desired experiences.
By creating this desire for the unknown, perfume companies are able to drive sales of products that customers can't fully evaluate until purchase. It's a smart way to build hype and excitement around their latest scent.👃

BLACK HOLLYWOOD
Lately all I’ve been hearing about, reading about is the unhappy, unsatisfied black actor that isn’t getting the role that they’re acting talent commands or the paycheck with seven or eight digits.
It’s so obvious this is still happening in Hollywood. That glass ceiling still exists for some that isn’t classified a (A) lister in Hollywood.
By the way, what’s a (A) lister?
It’s certainly not a struggling actor trying to find work just to pay the bills and keep a roof over their heads.
The few that’s Hollywood’s (A) lister that has a (NAME) that rings dollar signs for the movie producer isn’t extending the olive branch. I certainly don’t see it, except for nepotism.
That’s fair? They all do it in some form or fashion. It’s a Hollywood standard for making it in Hollywood.
I’m a screenwriter, so I wouldn’t know anything about that. How Hollywood decides on who makes it and who doesn’t.
When I write a screenplay, I include more than one race of characters. So it is written.
The pay scale is uneven in Hollywood along with opportunities for black actors to showcase their talent, unless you’re on that list of money makers.
They goes that dam letter again.
How many black actors get a starring role, that when the credits roll at the beginning of movie his or her name is seen first. We can count them on our fingers. A very short list.
The chosen few. I say that not to discredit their god even talent. You’d have to be blind not to see it.
WHY?
Hollywood isn’t the only game in Tinseltown.
Black Hollywood is coming sooner than later. The independent film maker has shown this.
That’s the word, INDEPENDENT, that means you’re NOT NEEDED ANYMORE.
TURNER MEDIA ENTERTAINMENT
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album evokes so much for me. Not just as a woman of color, or because I’m a massive fan (which I am because let’s be honest she is the queen) but because this album was born from struggle and grit and a pinch of F*%k you.
It’s humbling to learn that a global icon can still be seen as a challenger — and in this case because she is in the “wrong” category.
From a branding perspective it’s inspiring. To push into a category that has yet to be disturbed or that thinks it is fine without the interruption. As a brand why try…? Why bother an audience that knows what it wants? What if they reject you (or in Bey’s case get booed)?
But that is the beauty of being a challenger… and frankly not giving a fuck. It’s easy to fit into a category and do what everyone else is doing, it’s much harder to carve a path seemingly set in stone. 👑

On Tuesday night I went to Cardiff to watch the much celebrated Taylor Swift Eras Tour and it was a night full of magic and also a lot of reflection from me. There are a lot of opinions about Taylor and I am not here to comment about her politically or economically - what I am here to talk about is excellence in your craft. The Eras Tour was FLAWLESS!
I watch about 50-60 gigs a year and I am very particular about musical excellence and this was a masterclass. Every single facial expression, hand movement, costume change, and key change was executed to perfection. Taylor was focused and on form more consistently than any artist I have ever seen. She was engaged with the audience for every second she was on the stage and her performance was second to none. She is a testament to what attention to detail, diligence, and focused attention can achieve for a person’s career.
This is absolutely true of every business I have ever worked in. If your team delivered to your clients in the way that Taylor did to hers, you would never worry about cash flow again. Getting flawless performance like Taylor might not be a reality for every business but imagine if you got 10% closer. What would that mean for your bottom line? If you want your team to #BeMoreTAYLOR then let's have a chat - their performance is your growth.
