The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. So is the road to rapture... Intentions are neutral. They're just the starting point. Brief but powerful reminder from Gapingvoid Culture Design Group of the importance of #execution. Effective changemakers do not just paint a beautiful picture of what the future can look like - they also roll up their sleeves and start building it. This is a universal truth for all parts of life but I see this especially in the workplace as it relates to #operationalexcellence and #projectmanagement. Blue-sky thinking is exhilarating but #implementation is where the real work begins. TLDR: Actions speak louder than words. Success comes to those who get stuff done! #FridayThoughts #Motivation #ProjectImplementation

Dear Leaders, I see you, and I understand the overwhelm and the sense of being stuck that many of you are feeling right now. The challenges before us can feel insurmountable, and it's easy to question whether our individual efforts make a difference. But let me assure you, each one of you plays a vital role in the grand story unfolding in our world. The journey towards global coherence begins with each of us finding and maintaining our own coherence. This personal alignment is not a small contribution—it is a profound act that can ripple outwards, influencing and inspiring others. Many people never fully realize the power of their individual coherence. They may believe that as just one person, their actions don't matter or won't make a significant impact. This narrative can keep them playing small and dimming the brilliance of who they truly are. However, you are different. You are here because you recognize the importance of your unique light and the impact it can have. By finding your own coherence, you contribute to a greater global harmony and help create the change we all wish to see. Keep shining your light, knowing that your presence and coherence are powerful forces in the world. You are part of a transformative movement, and the world needs you to step fully into your power. With love and appreciation, Suzette #HeartCoherentLeadership #StepIntoYourPower #Lighthouses

I saw a post by Marika Ronty leg.psykolog and I asked for permission to have it translated from Swedish so that I could share it with you. It moved me and I hope that it moves you. At my stage in life this is aligned with my purpose: To Foster a renaissance of Leadership where purpose and growth are at the heart so that each of us learns to be our best self through work. Marika post: "I often ponder what is needed for an awakening? An awakening to a world where we realize that we have behaved badly towards ourselves, towards each other, and to our shared home, our planet, our Mother. Every day, we witness distressing signs that our planet is ailing. She weeps through floods and rages with lava, fire, and earthquakes. While some of these events are natural processes of renewal, many are the consequences of human greed and an insatiable thirst for power and dominance. What the world truly needs are leaders – individuals who lead by example, who have gained insight beyond the ordinary, and who are in tune with their entire being, not merely their cognitive functions. Too much emphasis on intellect can easily lead to destructiveness and human coldness. At the core of humanity's strength lies the heart, a well-known but often neglected center of intelligence. We don’t value and cultivate this intelligence enough. Destructive actions inevitably yield negative outcomes. So, how can you do your part to help guide us toward the light instead of deeper darkness? The answer lies in the understanding that everything is energy. We possess the power to influence the magnetic field solely through our thoughts and actions, setting off a ripple effect. Here are some things to consider: 💫 Pause 💫 Reflect on who you wish to become 💫 Extend kindness to one another 💫 Embrace the collective 'we' more than 'I' 💫 Foster a spirit of collaboration 💫 Always heed your inner wisdom, for it often knows what's best 💫 Acknowledge your responsibility and obligation to future generations By adhering to these seven 💫 principles, you can take pride in your contributions. This way, you help fulfill the deep-seated desires we all harbor for ourselves and each other 💫. Moreover, these actions pave the way for lasting positive change."

The Story of the Two Wolves An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.” Love using this story in the context of personal and spiritual growth but it also applies to business and leadership. It's a stark reminder that every day, we decide which aspects of our character to nurture and which to starve. In our careers and as leaders, we constantly face the challenge of choosing where to focus our energy. And, where our focus goes, our energy flows. What are you focusing on? Will you let the wolf of selfish ego and self-interest drive your decisions? Or will you choose to nurture the wolf of mentorship, leading with empathy and a genuine desire to uplift those around you? The wolves inside us can also represent the conflict between complacency and growth, between playing it safe and taking the risks necessary for innovation and authentic leadership. The choices you make in feeding one wolf over the other can meaningfully influence not only your personal development but also the culture, values, and success of your organizations. I encourage all of us to reflect on which wolf we’re feeding with our thoughts and actions. Let's make a conscious effort to focus our energies on the qualities that will help us grow and become the leaders and individuals we aspire to be. It's through these choices that we shape the futures of our businesses and the people within them.

Be the CHANGE - We are living in a world where division is often encouraged, it’s crucial that we stand together to remove hate from our society. True leadership is about fostering unity and breaking down the barriers that seek to separate us. When we lead with empathy, kindness, and understanding, we create a ripple effect that can transform our communities. Open dialogue and genuine connections are the foundations of a harmonious society. Let’s listen to one another, respect our differences, and celebrate our shared humanity. Call to Action: Reach out to someone different from you today. Learn their story. Share yours. Together, we can build bridges instead of walls. Show kindness to those who are struggling. Young people shouldn't have that kind of hatred in their heart. Lead by example! Real leadership is about bringing people together. Let’s lead by example and create a world where love triumphs over hate. It starts with each of us!

Our actions speak volumes, creating a lasting resonance that far surpasses the transient impact of our words. How we navigate challenges, treat others and uphold our values shapes the essence of our character. It's not just about what we say but, more importantly, about what we do. Actions become the indelible imprints that define who we are. Let's strive to be architects of positive echoes, consciously building a character that inspires and uplifts. By embodying integrity, kindness and empathy, we contribute to a harmonious symphony that reverberates long after our immediate interactions. As we navigate our professional journeys, remember that character is a magnetic force that attracts like-minded individuals and opportunities. It sets the stage for enduring relationships and establishes the foundation for sustainable success. Today, let's reaffirm our commitment to actions that reflect the character we aspire to embody. Let our echoes resonate far and wide, leaving a lasting impact on the world around us. #Character #ActionsSpeakLouder #ProfessionalDevelopment #Leadership #Integrity #Empathy #Reflection #EthicalGovernance

"The cathedral is not just a place of worship. It's a symbol of the power of faith, and a testament to what people can achieve when they work together." - Ken Follett, The Pillars of the Earth It's time for some more fiction-inspired leadership lessons, and this time I've traveled back to the 12th century. Surprisingly, it had a lot to teach me—especially about resilience. "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett isn't just a story about building a cathedral in medieval England; it's a masterclass in bouncing back from adversity. The characters face everything from political sabotage to natural disasters, yet they keep pushing forward, adapting their plans, and focusing on what they can control instead of what's beyond their reach. Take Prior Philip, for example. This guy faces ALL of the setbacks. It's like a real-time lesson in managing those "everything's on fire" moments. And it's not just Philip. Jack, Aliena, and even the villains show different kinds of resilience. Some recover from personal loss, others navigate shifting political landscapes. It's a reminder that resilience in leadership isn't one-size-fits-all. What about the cathedral itself? It's a great metaphor for any big, bold goal we might have in our organizations. It takes a long time to complete, there are always new challenges, and it requires coordinating people with different skills and agendas. But it's also a reminder of the importance of switching gears, making tough calls, and sticking with it. Here, I find myself thinking about how this applies to the modern workplace. How do you keep yourself and your team motivated when it feels like the goal is out of reach? How do you bounce back when a big project hits a major snag and you have to rethink your whole approach? I don't have the answers, but I'd love to hear about your experiences with resilience in leadership. What strategies have you found work well for you in maintaining a long-term vision and bouncing back from setbacks? #LeadershipLessons #Resilience #PillarsOfTheEarth #LongTermVision

“Your life will show proof of your principles and your deeply rooted integrity.” - Tommy Baker In our journey of life and work, our actions speak louder than our words. They are a testament to our principles and the integrity deeply rooted within us. We have little control over what is happening outside of us, the decions our bosses make, the cycles of the economy, and the health challenges we encounter. It's essential to remember that our daily decisions, how we handle these challenges, and how we interact with others will inevitably show proof of our character. It is easy to be our best self when things are going well. When things are tough, how we react shows our true character. Let's ensure our lives reflect the values we hold dear. Here's to living a life that not only aims for success but is also anchored in integrity and respect for all. #Leadership #Integrity #ProfessionalGrowth ---
