Google's Search Liaison, Danny Sullivan has outlined a helpful 5-point plan for diagnosing ranking drops: - Utilize Search Console to assess search results performance. - Compare data from the last six months with the previous period. - Sort the report by Clicks Difference to pinpoint areas of decline. - Analyze queries where clicks have decreased significantly. - Verify if your website still ranks among the top results. Sullivan says if your website remains in the top results, there's likely no immediate corrective action required.
