The Secret to Your Dog’s Reliable Recall: It’s All About Consistency and Engagement! Whether you’re at the park or in an open field, a reliable recall is crucial for every dog. Here’s a breakdown of how to achieve that solid recall: Start with a long line: -Begin by letting your dog wander off on a long leash. Call them back, and if they don’t respond immediately, give a gentle tug on the leash to correct them. -Remember to praise and reward them the moment they start coming back to you! Praise like crazy: -When your dog does come back to you, make it the best part of their day! -Praise them enthusiastically or give them their favorite treat or toy. -The more rewarding you make it, the more your dog will want to return to you every time. Engagement is key: -A well-engaged dog naturally wants to be around you. -If you’ve instilled this from puppyhood, the recall becomes much easier because the dog enjoys being with you and working for you. Mind your tone: -Your dog’s willingness to come when called is also directly influenced by your tone. -Always make sure your recall is associated with a positive experience—avoid using it to scold your dog. Handle distractions effectively: -Train your dog to return to you even when there are distractions. -This teaches them that responding to your call is non-negotiable, no matter what’s happening around them. By following these steps, you’ll be well on your way to a dog that consistently comes when called! #DogTrainingTips #PetOwnership #CanineBehavior #DogRecall

DO YOU WANT TO PREVENT RESOURCE GUARDING? THEN USE A 123 ALONG WITH YOUR DROP CUE! ❤️I love the 123! It is a much more positive way of moving your dog away from something they want to chase or pick up than LEAVE IT! Which I think is impossible to say without sounding cross. 😎I want the dog to feel that I am offering a better alternative than the thing they want to chase or go over to. 🐿️ In a way I am. They are getting to chase, and getting food at the end of it, and they are doing this activity with me. 3️⃣ Practice the 3 for a day. Say three in a really excited voice whilst chucking a high value treat for your dog to chase. The three has to be amazing for the rest to work. 2️⃣Then on day 2, add the 2. This is an important number as it builds anticipation, make it sound exciting too. 1️⃣Then on day 3, add the 1! Always follow this with the 2 and the 3. Your one is only as good as your 2, and your 2 relies on your 3. ⚡️A great way to redirect your dogs energy either towards you, or away from something they may want to chase or put in their mouth, or guard. 🐾Want to work with me? 💥Book your FREE discovery call today or visit our website 👇🏻 https://lnkd.in/eRf8bDmD #heeltraining #offleadtraining #puppytrainingtips #positivedogtrainer #beginnerdogtraining #forcefree #dogtraining101 #dogtrainingadvice #dogtrainingrevolution #dogtraininghack #dogtrainer #dogtraining #positivereinforcement #reactivedog #reactivedogtraining #offlead #recall #recalltraining #positivedogtraining #puppytraining #looseleadwalking #easydogtraining #dogtrainingtips #romanianrescuedog #streetdog

✨Different plan make you Powerfull Because when you focus on Your mind plans Then Your Should Success never give up never Focus other ✨ ⚡Encouraging good behavior in dogs not only fosters a harmonious relationship between pets and their owners but also ensures the safety and well-being of both the dog and the community. Positive reinforcement training methods, such as rewarding desired behaviors with treats, praise, or toys, can effectively communicate to dogs what is expected of them. Consistency is key in reinforcing good behavior, as dogs thrive on routine and clear expectations. By consistently rewarding behaviors like sitting, staying, and walking calmly on a leash, dogs learn to associate these actions with positive outcomes, making them more likely to repeat them in the future. 🤎Moreover, providing mental and physical stimulation is essential for preventing boredom and the development of destructive behaviors. Interactive toys, puzzle feeders, and regular exercise sessions not only keep dogs physically fit but also engage their minds, preventing boredom-induced behaviors like excessive barking or chewing. Additionally, proper socialization from a young age helps dogs learn to interact positively with other animals, people, and various environments. 💫Exposing dogs to different stimuli in a controlled and positive manner builds their confidence and reduces the likelihood of fear-based aggression or anxiety-related behaviors later in life. ⚡In addition to training and enrichment, establishing clear boundaries and rules within the household reinforces good behavior in dogs. 💫Consistently enforcing rules such as not jumping on furniture, waiting for permission before eating, and respecting personal space helps dogs understand their place within the family hierarchy and fosters a respectful relationship between dogs and their owners. 🤍 By incorporating positive reinforcement training, mental and physical stimulation, and clear boundaries, dog owners can cultivate a well-behaved canine companion who brings joy and harmony to their home. #ProtectInnocentPaws #VoiceForDogs #JusticeForCanines #PawsForProtection #DogsDeserveBetter #InnocentPawsCampaign #SafeHavenForDogs #DefendDogRights #LoveForFurryFriends #GuardianOfCanines

Gaining a Dog’s Trust: The Ultimate Guide Gaining a dog’s trust is a process that requires patience and the right approach. Here’s Marc Windgassen's guide on how you can do it effectively: - Avoid Direct Approach: Don’t rush to get into the dog’s space. Avoid making direct eye contact initially, as this can be perceived as a threat. - Side Profile Stance: When meeting a new dog, stand side profile to them. This non-confrontational position helps the dog feel less threatened. - Silent First Impressions: Remain quiet during the initial meeting. Talking and looking in the dog's direction can be seen as a threat, making them defensive. - Let the Dog Initiate Contact: Allow the dog to come to you. Let them sniff your boots, pants, and hand without making sudden movements. This lets the dog approach at their own pace. - Gradual Engagement: After the initial few minutes, start talking softly to the dog. Use a calm and soothing tone to help them relax around you. - Patience & Consistency: Building trust takes time. Consistently apply these techniques with patience, and you’ll see the dog slowly but surely opening up to you. Patience, subtlety, and respect for the dog's space are key factors when gaining a dog's trust. With these steps, you’ll foster a trusting and loving relationship with most dog you meet. #dogtraining #dogbehavior #trust #gainingtrust
