Just before heading off for the holidays at the end of July, the Gate2Brain family came together for our summer Retreat 2024 🌞✨. Held for the third consecutive year at what we now consider our rural headquarters 🏡, Santes Creus, this retreat offered us the perfect opportunity to reflect on the past four years, address upcoming challenges and objectives 🧗♀️, and, most importantly, reconnect with ourselves and our colleagues 🤝💡. Over the course of two intense days, we balanced recreational and work activities ⚖️, engaging in enriching discussions 🗣️, learning experiences 📚, and meaningful connections 🤗. The outcome of the retreat was overwhelmingly positive ✅. Sharing our achievements 🏆 and challenges 🛠️ with the Gate2Brain family, listening to their insights 👂, exchanging knowledge 💭, and enjoying time together 😄 proved to be incredibly rewarding. While finding joy in our work is fulfilling, the true pleasure comes from collaborating with such remarkable colleagues 👏, making this journey all the more special 🌟. Heading home from our third annual retreat with our amazing Ninety team! We are intentional with our culture, and as a remote company, this time to connect in person is invaluable. Sharing meals, learning, and time for general fun are key for our Retreats (my group took on some mountain biking in Park City for “fun”🚴♀️😅). Planning the event the last few months, and then hosting it, here are my top takeaways: 1️⃣ Flow like water: Things will change. It’s inevitable. Adapt. Offer resistance when it counts, but don’t get stuck on the unexpected. 2️⃣ Lean into the team: For our planning team, it wasn’t any of our full-time jobs, yet together we created something incredible. It’s a true reflection of why Team and Extra Mile are Core Values at Ninety. 3️⃣ Don’t miss the moment: Amid the questions and plans, it’s easy to forget to connect. Don’t stress, participate. Grateful for this experience and this incredible team! 🙌

Meet new people, expanding their social horizons. Experience the joy of travel, broadening their cultural perspectives. Spend time playing, nurturing creativity and problem-solving skills. These experiences are vital for holistic development, helping children develop their brains in ways that make learning faster and easier.

🎉✨Factbird Day Recap! 🎉✨ What a fantastic Factbird day and summer party we had on Friday! Going through the pictures, I can already tell that everyone had an absolute blast... We had a mix of activities lined up - starting with a workshop, followed by thoughtful conversations about our vision and direction. The day wrapped up with an exciting scavenger hunt and a team tour around Copenhagen harbor.
