Delighted to share that our latest research paper titled "Analyzing the Critical Success Factors Affecting Project Bundling Performance of Infrastructure Projects" (co-authored by Dr. Rayan H. Assaad, Ph.D.) has been published in the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management (JCEM)! In this study, we delve into identifying, studying, and prioritizing the success factors needed to efficiently bundle infrastructure projects together; where project bundling is an innovative project-delivery approach that bundles and groups different infrastructure projects into a single contract. This study provides decision-makers with the required knowledge and guidance on the key success factors that influence project-bundling performance. You can read the full paper at: https://lnkd.in/eYiYe_tE. Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback on our findings! John A. I help infrastructure project stakeholders - contractors, authorities, and developers - enhance land referencing accuracy and productivity through AI-driven strategies.
Land referencing is more than just a preliminary step in infrastructure projects - it's the foundation upon which successful developments are built. Throughout my career, I've seen projects succeed or fail based on the quality of their initial land referencing. In my “Mastering Land Referencing – A Professional’s Guide” training programme, I'll be sharing insights gained from years of hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects. We'll discover uncover various topics such as navigating complex land ownership documents, dealing with historical land rights, and leveraging the latest technologies to improve accuracy and efficiency. You'll learn how to handle challenging scenarios that can arise in the field, and develop strategies to mitigate risks that could potentially damage projects. This programme is more than theory – it will equip you with practical, applicable skills that will make you an indispensable asset in any land referencing project. Remember, there are only 2 weeks left to enrol in “Mastering Land Referencing”. Visit the link to my website in my profile to secure your place and transform your career in land.

Our next highlight for National Women in Construction week is Mariah Borelis, Project Engineer. Mariah also took time out of her very busy schedule to answer a few questions. 1. What is the most surprising part of being a woman working in construction? The most surprising part of being a woman working in construction is how rewarding a hard day’s work feels. It’s truly special when putting in the long hours and working together as a team produces a remarkable quality product. 2. What is the biggest challenge of being a woman working in construction? Earning respect and feel the need to continually prove knowledge and technical skills in a male-dominated industry. Speaking up with confidence can be intimidating when your opinions and suggestions have historically been overlooked. With Geo-Solutions, I believe they have gone above and beyond making me feel represented, respected, and appreciated by creating a safe, collaborative space where everyone is given the opportunity to present ideas, treated equally, and truly treated as a valued core team member. 3. How did you get started in the environmental contracting field, and what drew you to Geo-Solutions? I started my career as a Geologist in environmental consulting. I worked alongside contactors and watched them implement plans, overcome adversity, saw the logistics that go into completing projects, and watching skilling operators move and shape the earth, I was in awe. I would chat with the vetted Superintendents, ask them questions, and took value in how knowledgeable they were. I wanted to know more and be apart of their process and knew I needed to make the change. I was drawn to Geo-Solutions because they have been at the forefront of the geotechnical and environmental services industry for decades and knew I would have an abundance of opportunities to learn and grow from others who have extensive experience. 4. What's one of the most important lessons you've learned while working in environmental contracting? One of the most important lessons I’ve learned while working in environmental contracting is to never be afraid to speak up, ask questions, and never doubt your instincts or knowledge; there is value in different perspectives. Your perspective could offer unique solutions to challenges and prevent future problems from arising. 5. Looking ahead, what are some long-term goals you have with Geo-Solutions or in your professional career? My long-term goals with Geo-Solutions are to continue to grow my technical knowledge, foster enduring relationships with clients, and continue to work together as a team and empower others around me to be successful.
