It was my great pleasure to interview my old friend and colleague 奥田浩人Hirohito Okuda. We discussed some of the challenges of AI in Medical Software. One point that he made was that with Generative AI, the biggest challenge is that the risks involved are not well understood. We also discussed issues ranging from creating requirements, verification, explainability and ethical issues in this area. I have enough investment (in decades of my life and undiversified stock) to wish Intel any ill will at all, and I mostly loathe schadenfreude in principle.
