Infosys and L&T leadership may take note. Why demand only extended hours at work, why not even more from your employees? How about starting with building campuses for them to live in and not disown them as they cross the gate after work shift ......... looking after families may be too far fetched for now but can you start investing profits for employee well being to start with? Infosys? Larson & Tubro? Are you listening.

Dear Col Rajeev Bharwan Mumma Sir, #Heartstobravehearts One of the greatest life lessons I've received is from the Indian Armed Forces. Before conveying my message to all of you, I want to thank the Indian Army, Indian Navy , and Indian Air Force for being brave guardians of our Motherland and great teachers for me. Love you and thank you. ❤️🙏 Here's a sparkle of what I've learned from the Indian Armed Forces as a civilian and a failed soldier: 1. Strong Attitude, Personality, and Character Towards Life : - The Armed Forces teach us to have a strong attitude towards life, backed by strong character. This should show in your personality. Even in the toughest situations, there is always a way out—a way to success. Keep your mind in control and face challenges with a relaxed mindset. 💪 2. Discipline and Consistency : - A common civilian can be trained to be a self-armed combat-ready commando with discipline and consistency. It takes 9 months to make a soldier, 3 years to make a commando, and decades to make a legendary soldier. One thing is common: discipline and consistency. You can achieve anything with these. Learn from the Armed Forces—they are the most mentally, physically, and emotionally fit people in the whole country. 🕰️ 3. Self-Belief, Self-Control, and Love : - A soldier is always in self-control and you will never hear a soldier complaining about self-doubt. That's their training, and we can do the same by training our minds. It takes time, but it can be done. - A soldier loves their country the most, their family second, and if any love remains, then a little bit for themselves. Learn the true meaning of love. It's far different from self-obsession. Soldiers are never self-obsessed or self-centered. Love your people, love your profession, and most importantly, love your country. ❤️ These are some of the qualities I love. These are just few I need a complete hour to express my gratitude towards them for being my teachers too. Faujiana @faujiana_in Mahindra Group

Day 29/30 Kargil War: A Story of Valor and Sacrifice In May 1999, the Indian Armed Forces faced an unexpected challenge in the Kargil district of Kashmir. Pakistani troops had infiltrated across the Line of Control, occupying strategic positions. Our brave soldiers responded with courage and determination, fighting in treacherous terrain and harsh weather conditions. Key highlights of the war: - Operation Vijay: The code name for the Indian Army's operation to clear the Kargil sector. - Tiger Hill: A crucial battleground where Indian forces fought fiercely to capture the peak. - Batalik sector: Another key area where Indian troops overcame heavy odds to secure victory. The war ended on July 26, 1999, with India successfully evicting Pakistani troops from our territory. We remember the sacrifices of our martyrs and honor the bravery of our soldiers who fought to protect our nation's sovereignty. #KargilWar #IndianArmedForces #Valor #Sacrifice #NationFirst Degree2Destiny

Inspiring Army Tradition: Regimental Dinner Nights One of the most esteemed traditions in the Indian Army is the Regimental Dinner Night. This formal event is steeped in history and serves as a reminder of the regiment's deep bonds of camaraderie and respect. Held periodically, these dinner nights are not just about enjoying a meal together; they celebrate the regimental spirit, discipline, and values that bind the officers and soldiers. The tradition dates back to the British era and has been meticulously preserved by the Indian Army. The evening begins with a ceremonial welcome, where officers are greeted with honour. The event is marked by strict adherence to regimental customs, including dress codes, seating arrangements, and the conduct of toasts. A key highlight of the dinner night is the toast to the President of India, which signifies loyalty to the nation. The Regimental Dinner Night is also an opportunity for officers to engage in meaningful conversations, share experiences, and build lasting bonds. It's a time to reflect on the regiment's history, honour the sacrifices of those who served before, and renew their commitment to uphold the regiment's legacy. This tradition not only reinforces discipline and unity but also instils a sense of pride and belonging among the regiment members, making it a cherished event in the Indian Army. #RegimentalDinner #IndianArmy #MilitaryTradition #Camaraderie #Discipline #Honor #Pride #InspiringMantras #Heritage

The two Muslim companies of 4 J and K Infantry defending Muzaffrabad switched sides, killing their commanding officer Lt Col Narain Singh Sambyal and all other Hindu officers and Jawans. Very few survived to tell the tale. Lieutenant Colonel Narain Singh was born on 11 March 1907, in the family of Sri Hira Singh of District Samba of Jammu and Kashmir. After completing his studies at Boys High School, Samba, he was commissioned into the 7JAK battalion of State forces. A man with commendable soldierly skills, Narain Singh played a significant role in the 2nd World War and displayed great courage and valour while fighting with the Japanese army. For his indomitable leadership qualities, he was conferred with the “Order of British Empire” by British officials. By 1947, after serving his nation consistently for more than 25 years, he had been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During the Pakistani invasion of Jammu and Kashmir in October 1947, Narain Singh was the commander of the 4th JAK battalion, the oldest battalion of the J& K State forces, popularly known as ‘FatehShibji’. It comprised four companies, two each of Dogras and Muslims. The Muslim personnel of his battalion, mostly from the Mirpur-Poonch area, were already disgruntled and had close affinities with their co-religionists living on the other side of the border. Additionally, owing to various intelligence reports regarding the plans of sabotage and desecration in collaboration with the Pakistani army, Maharaja Hari Singh was apprehensive of the loyalty of the Muslim companies of Narain Singh’s battalion. But Colonel Narayan Singh, being a staunch patriotic army man, could never distrust the loyalties of soldiers on the premise of religion.
