1690 EDGES of PUBLIC SPACES -Gautam Shah https://lnkd.in/dvVTaXzi The most remarkable characteristic of edges of spaces, are the corners and breaks. The corners are angular irregularities and breaks result from passages, setbacks and discontinuities of the vertical surfaces. Historically formed spaces have many such fragments, but the climate, culture, architecture and materials, all prevent the disruptions.

In the smart cities approach, the Add On project by Architects team Fattinger Orso was an art and architecture installation in public space in Vienna. Peter Fattinger, Veronika Orso and Michael Rieper presented sculpture as a usable object, able to communicate and interact with the general public. Including rooftop gardens, urban farming and a vertical infrastructure, the basic structure of Add On consists of a platform reaching up high, in which specially made space modules interlock with finished parts creatively altered from their original purpose. The result was a fascinating variety of perspectives on everyday life, our surroundings, on community and environmental impacts as well as on the location of the platform itself. As a generally accessible environment, this structure let you explore new worlds, offering a range of new purpose and angles, city views and vistas at various levels. ⛅ Daylight - Sunlight ☀ Lighting plays a vital role in the way people experience and understand architecture. Whether buildings and structures are lit naturally or artificially, lighting is the medium that allows us to see and appreciate the beauty in the buildings around us. In the words of architect Louis Kahn: ‘I can’t define a space really as a space, unless I have natural light … natural light gives mood to space by nuances of light in the time of day and the season of the year as it enters and modifies the space.’ Check out our expert report on Daylight and Sunlight analysis to understand the nuances needed to succeed: https://lnkd.in/e3m3hudN #daylight #sunlight #analysis #experts #modelworks

In the recreated #digital ancient architecture, we seem to travel through time, returning to those distant years. Each gleaming glazed tile, each intricately carved upturned eave, appears to tell a story of history. Amidst the red walls and green tiles, the serene and majestic structures still retain their spirit and soul. What is presented through #digitaltwin technology is not just the form of the #architecture but also the inheritance of history and culture. 😄 · · · · #UnrealEngine5 #DigitalTwin #VirtualReality #CulturalHeritage #3DModeling #HistoricalPreservation #DigitalTransformation #ArchitecturalVisualization #AncientArchitecture #Innovation #TechnologyInArt

It suggests that architecture profoundly influences our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Buildings are not just physical structures; they shape our experiences, memories, and identity. The spaces we inhabit impact how we feel and perceive the world, contributing to the formation of our inner psychological landscape. Hence, architecture has the power to evoke emotions, foster connections, and even shape cultural or individual identities. #architecture #architectquotes #tranquilglobal
