Post-COVID, we've seen significant shifts in consumer behavior and economic patterns. The transition from traditional investments such as FDs and RDs to SIPs and equities is fostering increased disposable income and comfort-seeking habits (I am assuming better accessibility and financial literacy in Urban as juxtaposed to Rural India). The rise of quick commerce platforms like Zepto and Blinkit, coupled with more spending avenues, also contributes to these changes. Additionally, the surge in OTT consumption and the popularity of fast fashion brands such as Zara, H&M, and Zudio are shaping the new consumer landscape in Urban India.
Average individual expenditure of an individual living in Urban India is almost twice as that of someone living in Rural India!🤯 What do you think could be the reason behind this? Let us know in the comments and follow Finshots for more!

Dignity for All To live in dignity is every human right. The Right to Safety, The Right to Housing are basic human rights. Free housing helps the economy in mamy ways. It also ensures people are not homeless and women and children are safe. Providing free housing to the poor is important for several reasons, as it directly addresses issues of poverty, inequality, and societal well-being. Here are some key reasons: 1. Basic Human Right: Housing is a fundamental human right. Stable, safe, and affordable housing is essential for ensuring dignity and security for all individuals, regardless of their economic status. 2. Improved Quality of Life: Free housing provides stability, enabling individuals and families to focus on other aspects of life, such as education, employment, and healthcare, rather than worrying about shelter. 3. Reduced Homelessness: Free housing directly combats homelessness, reducing the number of people living on the streets or in unsafe environments, which can also lower associated societal costs, such as emergency healthcare and law enforcement. 4. Better Health Outcomes: Adequate housing contributes to improved mental and physical health. It reduces exposure to extreme weather, unsanitary conditions, and stress caused by housing insecurity. 5. Economic Benefits: Providing housing to the poor can help break the cycle of poverty. Stable housing supports better educational outcomes for children, increases workforce participation, and reduces the long-term economic burden on social services. 6. Social Stability: Free housing fosters social equity and cohesion by addressing disparities in living conditions. It helps create a more inclusive society where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive. 7. Crime Reduction: Housing stability is linked to lower crime rates. When people have a safe and secure place to live, they are less likely to engage in or be affected by criminal activities. 8. Moral and Ethical Responsibility: Societies that prioritize the well-being of their most vulnerable members often experience greater overall prosperity and resilience. Providing housing reflects a commitment to collective care and social justice. Investing in free or subsidized housing programs can yield long-term benefits for individuals, communities, and entire economies, making it a crucial step toward building a more equitable society.

Are we saying reservation shall develop Research and Innovation in India. It shall increase our exports and surpass China ? Are we desirous of removing competition? Is India using reservation as a tool of politics ? There is 50% reservation for OBC and SC n ST. 10% reservation for EBC. then reservation for DA and Kashmir Migrants ? Even after 75 years no creamy layer declared in SC/ ST category causing exploitation of poor by rich within SC/ ST class ? By regular rhetoric on reservation in India and in the States, the world is witnessing that there is still huge backwardness in India and States. India and States have failed to remove inequitable distribution of advantages of development and growth till date even after 75 years of independence ? Does it mean that in India and the States, policy and program implementation has failed and is still failing to remove backwardness ?
First it was Haryana; now it is Karnataka who is going bring reservation in private sector. I think they have lost all their senses. Even after witnessing that Harayana could get nothing from such initiatives, they are not ready to learn! Why? The damn petty politics!! #indianeconomy #india #Economy #bharat #reservation
