Corporate Pilot | Business Jets | Flight Instructor & Mentor | Family Man | Student for Life | Let’s connect.
The Super Midsize category Business jets have expanded to cover all extremes of the spectrum, from very-light-jets like the Cirrus Aircraft SF50 to ultra-long-rangers & even bizliners, or commercial #jets adapted for private use. A step-up from light jets is the midsize #category, with expanded seating (six to eight passenger seats) with luggage capacity that makes travel for corporate executives or extended families more viable. The typical midsize also has four to six hours of range, an enclosed lavatory with fairly nice cruising speeds. Some historical examples include the BOMBARDIER AEROSPACE LEARJET INC 45, Hawker 800XP, Textron Aviation Citation Excel, Gulfstream Aerospace G250 & Embraer Legacy 450. Seeking to fill the gap between #midsize & #large jets, the super-midsize class subsequently emerged, offering higher cruising #altitude’s & speeds, coast-to-coast range, seating for up to 9 or 10 passengers, and stand-up interior cabin heights of around 6 feet. The Citation X, Hawker 4000, the Dassault Falcon 50EX, BOMBARDIER Challenger 300/350, Dassault Aviation Falcon 2000LXS & Citation Longitude are all examples of this category. Here are seven examples that fill that sweet spot between smaller, lighter models & more substantial large-body #aircraft. #Businessjet’s are awesome! #bizav #bizjet https://lnkd.in/d8-9_yZA

Moving forward.
🚨 Warning! You might be blown away by what you see in this video. 🌬️ Something that hardly ever happens to the Wingcopter… 📹 This is recent footage of two Wingcopters smoothly finishing a flight at a windspeed of >12 m/s (with a maximum of 18 m/s 🌬️🌬️) at our test site in Spain. The Wingcopter 198’s extreme stability even in such wind conditions is possible thanks to our patented tilt-rotor mechanism and software algorithms that balance heavy wind and gusts. ✅ Since the Wingcopter 198 has proven its wind resistance in many flights, we now aim for a clearance for constant wind of 15 m/s and gusts of up to 20 m/s. The tests are ongoing, and we will probably share more in the coming weeks or months. #Wingcopter #Wingcopter198 #DroneDelivery #testing #wind #ExtremeConditions #GermanEngineering Sagar Sheth Adrián Rosales Pousada Mauro Peretti Cesar Sanchez Pinilla Sanz Iván López Julia S.
