【Visiting the Middle East】Cyberport Joined the Delegation to Promote Hong Kong's FinTech Advantage and Seeks Collaboration Opportunities   As a flagship of digital technology and the largest FinTech community in Hong Kong, Cyberport is committed to assisting start-ups in expanding into overseas markets and promoting regional exchanges including the Middle East along the "Belt and Road Initiative" countries. Recently, together with our community start-ups from different areas such as #WealthTech, #InsurTech, #RegTech, #Blockchain, #ESG, we recently joined a HKSAR delegation visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates in separate batches from May 1 to 9, in order to promote Hong Kong's FinTech advantage.   Led by Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB), Financial Services Development Council, and Invest Hong Kong, HKSAR delegation arrived in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on the first day (May 1) and visited the Ministry of Investment (Saudi Arabia) (MISA). During the meeting, INVEST SAUDI introduced the local business environment and opportunities available for Hong Kong investors. Later, some representatives also visited Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), one of the largest banks in the Kingdom. As a partner of HSBC, SAB plays a crucial role in supporting FinTech innovation. Over the next few days, the Delegation will also visit Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi to attend the Dubai FinTech Summit and meet local regulators, financial institutions and technology companies.
