Started training my first model for Vision Pro object tracking. I have all my Dynamod 3D printable dungeon components ready to go, so I'm curious to see what can be done in augmented reality once the model is trained. #machinelearning #visionos2 #visionpro

First experimentation with #tyFlow's integrated #tyDiffusion options inside #3dsmax. The possibilities for art direction via setting up a 3D scene and then feeding the #StableDiffusion model results on top of it are exciting. Especially for quick look and concept development. The idea of giving up a certain amount of control over the look of the resulting image still has a fart of unsatisfaction about it, but each of the shots on display here were structured with actual 3D models, particle simulations, and framed via a camera I placed. So that helps the results feel a bit more "mine," and the loss of control even starts to feel thrilling after a while!

I was asked about how well Simulon works for automotive visualization. Using a pre-existing 3D model, creating and rendering a video like this takes just a few minutes. For ultra-detailed reflections, 3D artists might prefer replacing the ML-generated HDRI with a high-resolution one captured manually, which we've made very simple to do. However, for many applications, the results straight out of the app will work great. If there are specific use cases you'd like to see demonstrated, let me know! The model is by Karol Miklas and you can find it on Sketchfab - https://skfb.ly/6WZyV #vfx #cgi #virtualproduction #3d

3D robot now with footstep sound Simulon allows artists to upload 3D assets with specific sounds attached to different parts. This creates a realistic final render with dynamic sound adjustments based on positioning.

3D scan of a T-55 tank made with Reality Capture. It is my first attempt at creating a 3d model in photogrammetry. 641 photos were taken for input data. RC is great software with no need for external apps to achieve decent results. I will probably use this model as an asset for scenes in future projects. You can check the result on Sketchfab https://skfb.ly/prOB7 #3dscan #realitycapture

🌟 Excited to share our latest blog post on event-based generalizable 3D reconstruction framework, EvGGS! Event cameras have shown promise for challenging scenarios, but reconstructing 3D scenes from raw event streams can be challenging. Our EvGGS framework addresses this by reconstructing scenes as 3D Gaussians from event input in a feedforward manner, capable of generalizing to unseen cases without retraining. Our blog post covers the framework's components and the creation of a novel event-based 3D dataset for further research.
