GCAL by Sarine stands out by providing actual, high-resolution photos and videos of a diamond's light performance under various lighting conditions rather than relying on theoretical or simulated images. 🌟Why it matters? This reveals how the diamond interacts with light, showcasing its brilliance, fire, and optical symmetry, resulting in an accurate, real-life representation of the diamond's appearance. Unlike other labs that may use computer-generated images based on theoretical models, GCAL by Sarine ensures that buyers and jewelers see the diamond's true optical characteristics, offering greater transparency and confidence in its quality. Microscope Setup Issues Eye strain may occur when incorrectly viewing objects with details not readily visible to the naked eye. If the eye pieces are not set to your interpupillary distance, which is the distance between your eyes, you are not viewing the image with both eyes at the same time. If the focal length, which is the distance between the bottom lens and the viewed object, is not set properly, the image will appear blurry. Improper lighting can cause shadows on images or reflect bright light back into the eyes. These issues can be addressed with magnification education. If you are having any of these issues, let me help you see clearly. https://lnkd.in/eDVCQ9Xg #manufacturingprocess

Metamerism Index Metamerism is a color tone difference between two light sources or more. This is very critical in the color approval process and combination finalization. When the combination finalization, smallest metamerism combination must be selected. Here i have described the simple calculation method of the metamerism index under 3D color space.

What is the #CIE L*a*b* color space? "CIE" refers to an authoritative international organization on #colors, lighting, etc. The specific representative is the #International #Commission on #Illumination. Lab is composed of a luminance channel and two color channels. CIELAB color space is a device-independent, "standard observer" model. The colors it defines are not relative to any particular device such as a computer monitor or a printer, but instead relate to the CIE #standard observer which is an averaging of the results of color matching experiments under laboratory conditions. 1. "L" represents brightness The larger the value of L, the brighter. The smaller the darker. The range of this value is approximately 0-100. When the value is 0, it represents black and when the value is 100, it represents white. 2. "a" stands for red and green The value from negative to positive is the evolution from green to red. 3. "b" stands for blue and yellow The evolution from negative to positive is the evolution from blue to yellow.

It can be a challenge trying to get the colours just right in your microscope observations sometimes. 🤦♂️ 🔍With the right optics, you get more than just a clear view - true-to-life colours appear naturally, making your work easier. 🕶️ Plus, the 3D depth perception helps you spot those tiny colour differences you might otherwise miss. 💡 And let’s not forget consistent lighting! It makes all the difference, helping you see exactly what you need without shadows getting in the way. Book a demo of Mantis and see how these frustrations can be solved making your observations more accurate, efficient and less frustrating for all. #Microscopy #StereoMicroscope #QualityAssurance

#LENS_ABBERATION? In optics, aberration is a property of optical systems such as lenses that results in light being spread out over some region of space rather than being focused to a point. An image-forming optical system with aberration will produce an image that is not sharp. Aberration can be caused due to a variety of reasons such as lens size, material, thickness and position of the object. * What is Optical Aberration? In an ideal lens, light from any given point of an object would pass through the lens and come together at a single point in the image plane. Contrary to ideal lenses, real lenses do not focus light to a single point. These deviations from the idealized lens performance are known as an aberration of the lens. -Types of Aberration? *Spherical Aberration *Coma *Astigmatism *Curvature of Field & Distortion *Chromatic Aberration . . . . . . . #Abberations #learninganddevelopment #marketing #optometry #share #like #comments #positivevibes
