🌱 Choosing to work at Hexagon Purus is probably the biggest step I’ve taken to reduce carbon emissions, but let’s be real – that doesn’t mean I’m off the hook for my personal footprint. I’ll admit, my flying habits could use some work. However, one area where I’ve been making a real dent is my diet. 🍽️ I haven’t eaten meat in 20 years, but I’m not vegan and my family still enjoys the occasional roast. That said, we’ve been consciously cutting down on meat – especially beef – and honestly? It’s been way easier than I expected. These days, plant-based recipes are better than ever. You don’t have to sacrifice flavor, it’s easier to hit your fruit & veggie targets, and it’s good for the wallet too. 💸 Plus, we grow a decent chunk of our own fruit and veg in the garden, which not only cuts down on food miles but also tastes amazing.
