The ASTM Committee D08 recently honored Dr. Xia Cao with the Werner H. Gumpertz Award for her significant professional contributions. Dr. Cao is a research director of waterproofing and liquids at GCP Applied Technologies and specializes in material science, process engineering, and product development for waterproofing systems and building materials. SGH’s Phil Moser, John Sekel, Daniel Gibbons, Bill Woods, and Hector F. Pons were on hand to help celebrate the award. Congratulations, Dr. Cao!
