I recently completed the "Science of Stem Cells" course on Coursera. This fascinating journey delved deep into the world of stem cell research and its potential applications in medicine and beyond. Throughout the course, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the biology of stem cells, their therapeutic potential, and the ethical considerations surrounding their use. Learning about the latest advancements in regenerative medicine has been truly inspiring. Through this course, I have acquired skills such as Stem Cell Characterization, Cell Culture and Maintenance, Experimental Design and Data Analysis. This course has not only expanded my knowledge but also empowered me with practical skills that I can apply in my research and beyond.

🔬 Exciting Update: I've just completed the "Science of Stem Cells" online course from the American Museum of Natural History! I'm thrilled to share that this course not only provided a deep dive into the history and biology of stem cells but also equipped me with invaluable theoretical knowledge in advanced genome editing techniques. I gained proficiency in CRISPR-Cas9 technology for targeted gene modification and mutation removal, which are pivotal in advancing personalized medicine. Additionally, I acquired practical insights into cutting-edge nuclear tissue techniques to facilitate cellular repair processes. These skills are crucial for understanding and harnessing the potential of stem cells in treating various medical conditions, including breast cancer. The course also broadened my perspective on the ethical considerations surrounding stem cell research and the development of cell libraries for mutational research. I'm deeply grateful to the American Museum of Natural History for offering such a comprehensive and enriching online learning experience. Post-graduate degree passed with first class, must have qualified national level exams conducted by CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR etc., and have more than three years of research experience in the relevant field. Desirable Qualifications: Highly motivated to conduct basic research in biology and academically excellent. Technical expertise required for the project, such as animal handling (mouse), cell culture, microscopy, molecular biology, biochemistry techniques, and histology.
